Free Music Series for Ages 21 and Up Every Sunday, April 30 Through October 1, 2017

 

Atlanta, Georgia  – Park Tavern is pleased to announce the return of Sunset Sessions powered by Mountain Dew – a weekly, alternative music series in Piedmont Park. First launched in 2015, Radio 105.7, The Bowery Presents and Park Tavern will once again come together to bring Atlantans and visitors alike an incredible lineup of live music from some of today’s most buzz-worthy artists every Sunday for free this spring and summer. The annual series will kick-off on April 30th under Park Tavern’s spacious, air-conditioned Garden Tent with must-see Southern-tinged rock band Atlas Road Crew, Disco Tendencies, and The Gypsies.  Additional confirmed artists for Sunset Sessions include:  San Fermin, Low Roar, and Shy Layers (5/7); Sweet Tea Trio, Pat Cooper and The Band Lovett (5/14); Trae Pierce & the T-Stones and Sazerac (5/21); Jamestown Revival and Colter Wall (6/4); John Paul White and Lera Lynn (6/11); Meg Mac (6/18); Surfer Blood (6/25); Girls Guns & Glory and Cold Heart Canyon (8/20) and Tropidelic (9/3). More artists will be announced in the coming weeks.

 

Located conveniently off of the Atlanta BeltLine, concert goers can enjoy giveaways throughout the series and, the opportunity to mingle with Aly, Knox, and Sully from Radio 105.7 in Atlanta. Plus, fans can try specialty seasonal cocktails, house-brews, 1/2 off sushi from 10 p.m. to midnight, and much more. The free concert series will run through Sunday, October 1, 2017; every show is from 7 to 11 p.m. and guests must be 21+ older to attend. For more information, visit www.parktavern.com.
