Saturday, May 6th from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

 

Atlanta, Georgia – And they’re off! Head to The Brasserie and Neighborhood Café at PARISH on Saturday, May 6, 2017 from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. for Atlanta’s most authentic Derby Day party.  Revelers are invited to don their best bow ties, seersucker, spring dresses and fanciest hats because PARISH is transforming the restaurant and patio into Churchill Downs for an unforgettable viewing party. Guests can place their bets as they enjoy live music and sip on mint juleps and nosh on Derby-inspired bites. Before watching the horses run for roses, party goers can strike a pose in the interactive photo booth and enter for the chance to win prizes for the best hat, best dressed and more.

 

Executive Chef Stuart Tracy is pulling out all the stops for what promises to be an unforgettable party. Derby-inspired bites feature his spin on traditional favorites and include  Miniature Hot Brown Sandwiches; Kentucky Country Ham Biscuits with Sorghum and Creole Mustard; Pickled Shrimp; PARISH Fried Chicken; Asparagus and Fontina Gougèrese; Tomato Pie; Kentucky Derby Pie and more. Imbibers will be treated a complimentary classic Mint Julep and can also explore a specialty menu featuring Parish Oaks Lily, Fourth Ward Julep, Single Barrel Saturday; and ATL Derby Tea cocktails.

CELEBRATE CINCO DE MAYO AT CHUY’S WITH THREE DAYS OF FESTIVITIES

ATLANTA, GA – Tex-Mex restaurant Chuy’s is celebrating Cinco de Mayo with three days of festivities, starting Thursday, May 4 and running through Saturday, May 6 at all 3-area locations.

 

“Cinco is always a huge party at Chuy’s, but this year it’s extra special,” said Mike Molestina, Director of Operations at Chuy’s. “We decide to extend the party to three days to give our customers plenty of opportunities to come and enjoy our authentic Tex-Mex, Mexican beers, and hand-squeezed lime margaritas.”

 

 

THURSDAY, MAY 4

Kick off the Cinco de Mayo party with $1 off Corona and Corona Light beers and $1 floaters to top your favorite margarita. And from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Chuy’s famous Fully Loaded Nacho Car packed with free chips, salsa fresca, queso, ground sirloin, and more.

 

FRIDAY, MAY 5

Chuy’s is celebrating Cinco de Mayo with all-day Happy Hour drink specials, including $1 off Corona and Corona Light beers and $1 floaters. Chuy’s free Fully Loaded free Nacho Car will be up and running from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

 

SATURDAY, MAY 6

Recover from Cinco de Mayo on Saturday with all-day $5 Tito’s Bloody Marys and the ultimate Hangover Combo: a Chicken Relleño and Cheese Enchilada with Green Chile Sauce served with green chile rice and refried beans.

 

The three-day Cinco de Mayo celebration will be the last chance for customers to enjoy Chuy’s limited-time frozen Ruby Red Rita made with Deep Eddy’s Ruby Red Vodka and Exotico 100% Agave Silver tequila.

Family Fun in the Sun with Over 185 Artists, Live Music, Kid’s Area and More

Atlanta, GA  — The Chastain Park Spring Arts Festival will return to beautiful Chastain Park along Park Drive in Buckhead for its sixth year on Saturday, May 6 and Sunday, May 7, 2017.  Produced by the Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces, the award-winning, two-day festival features more than 185 painters, photographers, sculptors, leather and metal craft persons, glass blowers, jewelers and more.  Event-goers are also invited to view artist demonstrations, enjoy live entertainment, and participate in hands-on activities.  The festival will also have a children’s area, food trucks, beverages and a small stage for live acoustic music performances.
