Atlanta, Georgia – The Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces is thrilled to announce the return of the Piedmont Park Arts Festival on Saturday, August 19 and Sunday, August 20, 2017. With an emphasis on the visual arts and family fun, the eighth annual event will once again be held in Piedmont Park, one of the most respected and beautiful public parks in the City of Atlanta. This year’s two-day event will feature 250 painters, photographers, sculptors, leather and metalwork artisans, glass blowers, jewelers, and crafters. Festival goers are also invited to enjoy artist demonstrations, live acoustic music, a street market, children’s play area, festival foods and beverages, games and much more. Free to the public, the event is open to all ages and pets are welcome. About: Guess what, we’re back at Live in the Battery next to Suntrust Park and the home of the Braves!! Get ready to rock a Sound Off™ LED headset and flip between 3 different styles of music for all new dance experience in Atlanta! Walk with a drink open container legally venue to venue for first bar crawl in the Battery. Bar line-up includes: Sports and Social, Todd English Tavern, and PBR Atlanta where check-in is from 5-7 pm. Special at the bars include BOGO appetizers in Sports & Social, $3 Coors Light, $4 House Wine, and $5 Wells, signature cocktails for each venue, as well as the UFC 214 Sat. So what is Hush Hush? Hush Hush is the next wave of silent disco in this country and let us call it the silent disco experiment. Ready for some Daylife full of fun and drinking during the day?   We are taking silent disco out of the clubs/festivals and creating a mobile music listening environment.  Silent Disco is where all participants wear wireless LED headsets tuned to 3 different types of music. The Sound Off™ headsets have 3 Led Colors, (blue, green & red), that coordinate with different styles of music.  For example, we may have 3 styles: DJ 1 (Green): EDM Dance DJ 2 (Blue): Top 40 Club remixes, DJ 3 (Red): 80’s, 90’s & Old School Hip Hop.  The venue will be completely quiet and you can have conversations with no interruptions due to loud music. There will be 6 DJ’s playing the tracks in the head sets and they include: Lost Seekers, 8NINE, jk, LYP LOCK, Kaf and Matt Duhe (Subject to change).
