Atlanta Meatball Festival

About: Meatballs, meatballs, meatballs! Get ready Atlanta for the 2nd Annual Atlanta Meatball Festival showcasing the world’s most beloved beef-pork-lamb-chicken (and sometimes seafood!) combos. Join us as Atlanta’s favorite restaurants will prepare a wide selection of mouthwatering meatball dishes in this “battle of the balls” competition under the big top tents Sunday, August 30 from 1-5pm in Sandy Springs at the Belle Isle Square parking area next door to Cibo E Beve. Produced by TasteATL and hosted by Chef Linda Harrell, the event will benefit Second Helpings Atlanta. There are also some serious bragging rights up for grabs. As a true “battle of the balls” challenge, each dish will be voted on by judges and attendees to see who has Atlanta’s mightiest meatball. Once the votes are cast, the top three winners will advance and go head-to-head in a Meat Brawl Throwdown at Taste of Atlanta. In addition to the wide selection of meatball dishes, wine and beer (available for purchase), this festival will spice things up with sweet treats, limoncello tastings, music by DJ MadFlip.
