Date: Friday, April 8th
Time: Doors 8pm, Show 9pm

About: On Friday, April 8th, Terminal West brings you the Dynamic Atlanta Duo: Stokeswood with Today the Moon, Tomorrow the Sun. Together again! Can you believe it? Atlanta’s two best bands in one night! Doors are at 8pm, the show at 9pm. Tickets are $10. Here’s an excerpt about each band from their below facebook event: Atlanta-based STOKESWOOD  are known to switch instruments between songs — one hint as to their eclecticism and energy — and they eschew limits on influences. New EP 2075, the band’s most accessible release to date, taps new wave, power-pop and indie rock, and even references Atlanta hip-hop beats. Sounds are expertly layered to maximize textures and sonic impact. These are song that earn their place on the dance floor. Stokeswood was named Best Local Rock Act by Creative Loafing Atlanta in 2013 & 2014 and Best Local Pop Act in 2015, the publication’s voters also voted ‘2075’ Best Local Album 2015 and Best Music Video for “Our Streets.”

TODAY THE MOON, TOMORROW THE SUN is all about the collaborative. It’s about the connections between sound and people. A band of four: two girls, two boys. Noisy, dancy, loud, sincere, sweaty, loveable, hardworking.
Folks say Today The Moon, Tomorrow The Sun occupy a strange land, a territory full of noisy chaos that dances around many perfectly manicured landscapes; other folks have made up odd sub-genres for them (“Indie New-Wave”, “Dreamy Disco Punk”, “Bullet-proof Dance Jams”, and “Indie-Electro-Fuzz-Rock” to name a few.)
For Today the Moon, Tomorrow the Sun, 2014 brought a new movement of music, visuals, and expression. With an EP release scheduled for April 2014, accompanied by videos for each song, the band continues their anthem– They’re about changing the things you wanna change and doing the things you wanna do. It’s about refusing to settle and working hard for what you want. It’s about really seeing your past, present, and future.
