Atlanta Beltline Lantern Parade 2015

About: On Saturday, September 12. Every year, Art on the Atlanta BeltLine has celebrated our exhibition with a captivating and energetic Lantern Parade, hosted by the Krewe of the Grateful Gluttons. The glowing procession of light, music, and color carry over the entire length of the Eastside Trail, opening Art on the Atlanta BeltLine the Saturday after Labor Day each year. The Art on the Atlanta BeltLine exhibition and the Lantern Parade are free and open to the public. Your participation is the magic of the Lantern Parade. Dancers Unite Against Cancer 2015

About: On Saturday, September 12, Dancers Unite Against Cancer is dancing it’s way to cure cancer. DUAC is the primary fund raising event for the Nancy Falco Fund. They are a “Non-profit organization devoted to providing financial aid, love and hope to cancer patients. Each year NFF donates 100% of the profits from Dancers Unite Against Cancer ticket sales and donations to a Georgia resident currently experiencing the financial hardship associated with a cancer diagnosis.” This year enjoy live music, dinner, fun activities for kids, artists, and perfomances by top Atlanta Dancer. Tickets are $30 in advance and $40 at the door.

Sunset Sessions with The Joy Formidable at Park Tavern

About: How do you close out Atlanta’s best free concert series in years? Book The Joy Formidable and send a message to the rest of the country- sometimes the old adage “you get what you pay for,” just doesn’t mean sh#t. Creating national buzz off of 2011’s The Big Roar and 2013’s Wolf’s Law, this will probably be the last chance you ever get to see this band in this intimate of a setting, for nothing.
