Atlanta Food and Wine Festival 2016

Date:  Thursday, June 2nd to Sunday, June 5th
Time: Varies by day

About: This weekend, enjoy food, entertainment, and a pop-up Vineyard(!) at Atlanta Food & Wine Festival. It is the nation’s first culinary weekend dedicated exclusively to showcasing the rich food and beverage traditions of the South – Texas to D.C. Beyond sampling food and wine, the festival offers close to 100 classes during the weekend from large stage demonstrations to intimate tasting seminars and technique labs. This year the Festival is expanding the repertoire of learning experiences by offering a series of Master Classes designed to dig even deeper into wine and spirits. Don’t forget the tasting tents! The Festival Tasting Tents showcase the region’s best flavors and lead guests on an interactive exploration of the South by offering inspired cuisine paired perfectly with wines, beers, and spirits from more than 120 purveyors. Located in the Greensward Promenade area of Piedmont Park, the new Tasting Tent location offers ample space and seclusion for the Festival’s sommelier and mixologist lounges, a Pairing Tent, live music, tailgating areas outfitted for barbecuing and relaxation, and a pick-your-garnish cocktail lounge. The interactive experiences feature themes like Southern Staples, Southern Around the World, Southern Tailgating and Southern Provision. Tickets range from $45 to $585 depending on what you’d like to attend.
