Today the Moon, Tomorrow the Sun at The EARL

Why can’t the NYE fun extend all weekend, you ask? It can! On Saturday, January 2nd join our friends Today the Moon, Tomorrow the Sun at The Earl and continue your celebration of 2016! Along with Today the Moon, performing will be Hank and The Cupcakes and Glass Mansions, so it’s a full night of good, local music. Tickets are $10 in advanced and for 21 and up only.

RING IN 2016 AT DAD’S GARAGE THEATRE’S NEW YEAR’S EVE “NEW HOME EDITION”

Every year, New Year’s Eve proves to be one of biggest and most popular shows on Dad Garage Theatre’s calendar. And, this year will prove to be the best one yet as revelers can be the first to experience the 20-year-old improve theater company’s new home in a 12,000-square-foot renovated church in the Old Fourth Ward. The comedic crew will be hosting two side-splitting shows on December 31, 2015 at 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. Tickets start at $30 and the price includes a glass of champagne for an end-of-show toast and there will be fireworks to enjoy for anybody left standing after midnight. Nameless Nameless – Nirvana Unplugged at Venkman’s

On Saturday, December 26th, dust off your doc martins and your best flannel shirt and head to Venkman’s to see Nameless Nameless, a Nirvana cover band, “reinacting” the entire Nirvana Unplugged experience. Love Lake of Fire? Get to Venkman’s. Enjoy All Apologies with the rest of us? Get to Venkman’s. Know what song that goes with the lyrics “to put out the blow torch?” You really should check this out. Tickets are $10 and space is limited.

Barrels and Berries Boxing Day Beers at Wild Heaven

On Saturday, December 26th, noon to 2pm get tart wild ales to chocolately stouts – this small batch beer event has something for everyone. Quantities of each are very limited! Beers include: Russian Imperial Stout with Raspberry and Smoked Coco Nibs, Blackberry Wild Ale, Ode to Mercy aged in a Heaven Hill bourbon barrel, and Barrel Aged Eschaton with Raspberry. Lunch will be available for purchase from Kushina Catering. Stop by and try something new! Tickets are $20.
