THE RINK AT PARK TAVERN 2015/2016 SEASON

The Rink at Park Tavern in Piedmont Park will glide back into the hearts of Atlantans on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 26, 2015, when it opens for the 2015-2016 season. Located in the spacious Garden Tent at Park Tavern on the Atlanta BeltLine, this favorite Intown holiday tradition will once again feature modern amenities for day and night skating including a covered rink that is 85 feet long and 40 feet wide and comfortably accommodates 200. Open through Presidents Day, Monday, February 16, 2016, Atlantans and visitors alike can enjoy unforgettable ice skating experiences including all day skate sessions, Frozen-themed children’s birthday parties, ‘Skate After 8’ for ages 18 and up, and a number of special events including a high-energy NYE show courtesy of Yacht Rock Revue. Starting at just $15 to skate all day on non-peak season days, The Rink provides high quality rental skates that are professionally sharpened.

ATLANTA WINE PARTY: WINTER EDITION

On Saturday, January 16th, Atlanta Wine Party is back for a second successful year at Opera! Try 50+ wines, get a souvenir acrylic wine glass, listen to live music, and a DJ. Tickets go on sale Wednesday, December 2nd. The first 100 tickets are $30. After the first 1oo, the advanced tickets are $40 in until 1/7, $50 after, and then $60 day of the event. VIP is available as well with early entry, premium wines and light appetizers. $70 advance and $80 after 1/7. Tickets go on sale Wednesday, December 2nd. The first 50 are $60!!

UGLY SWEATER BAR CRAWL

On Saturday, December 12th come crawling with Atlanta Bar Crawls and bars around buckhead for the Ugly Sweater Pub Crawl. Gather at the registration bar at 5pm. Bar partners include (subject to change): Buckhead Saloon, Lost Dog Tavern, Kramers, Hangovers, and Park Bench. Tickets are $20.

ACWORTH BEER FESTIVAL: PORTER SEASON

In quaint city in far North Atlanta is a cute downtown full of locally owned bars, restaurants, shops, and many things to do. The city of Acworth is beautiful and a great place to hold a beer fest! You get all the small city charm and all the fun of a beer fest in one place! We hadn’t been to the Acworth Beer Festival before and had a blast, as well as enjoyed the beautiful November weather and all the porter/stout we could drink. That being said…

RATION & DRAM THREE TAVERNS BEER LUNCH

On Saturday, December 5th, Ration & Dram will be hosting a beer lunch with Three Taverns Brewery in Decatur, GA. Guests will start with a tour of the brewery at 11am, then head to Ration & Dram for BBQ and beers at noon. The menu will include pulled pork (with a sweet tea & juniper brine), brisket (with a cocoa & coffee rub), and smoked chicken. Each course will be paired with sides and beer from Three Taverns. $50.

THE COCKENTRICE PRESENTS: SATURDAY IN SPAIN

Executive Chef Kevin Ouzts and his culinary team at The Cockentrice have joined together with cheese expert Hannah Thompson for an afternoon of Spanish wine tastings, tapas-style bites, cheese pairings, and more on Saturday, December 5, 2015 from 3 to 5 p.m. Featuring six wines from Spain by B&L Brands, The Cockentrice invites attendees to enjoy an array of Spanish wines paired and mouthwatering bites for just $45 a person, plus tax and gratuity.
