Malts and Vaults 2017

About: Oakland Cemetery’s popular guided walking tour, Malts & Vaults: Where Beer Meets History, returns on Saturday, July 8 at 6:00 p.m. The hour-long tour is available with advance ticketing only and spaces are limited. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of the tour to check-in. Tour check-in will be located outside Oakland’s Bell Tower. Ron Smith and Mary O. Boyle, authors of Atlanta Beer: A Heady History of Brewing in the Hub of the South and Prohibition in Atlanta, will be on hand to sign copies of their books. All ticket holders will enjoy a 10 percent discount on these books and all items in the Museum Shop. Stick around after the tour for a complimentary sampling of local beer selections, courtesy of Wild Heaven Beer. Tickets are $16 for adults, $10 for students and seniors, and Historic Oakland Foundation members are $6.
