Monday Night Garage Situational Ethics Release and VIP Event 2019

Date: Saturday, December 7th

About: Situational Ethics Day Returns. It’s a celebration of everything great about these imperial stouts. Oh, in case you were wondering, this year’s variants are Apple Brandy Barrel-Aged Meadowfoam Honey Imperial Stout, Maple Cognac Barrel-Aged Praline Imperial Stout, Mezcal Barrel-Aged Mexican Hot Chocolate Imperial Stout.  We’ll be pouring these all day long at the Garage, and you can take some bottles home. The event is free, but we are also hosting a VIP event. The VIP event includes unlimited pours, a limited edition glass, adjunct-free cask tastings and a conversation with our Brewmaster on the evolution of our stout program. Plus, special local food pairings from BoxCar ATL, Heaps, and Honeysuckle Gelato. VIP tickets are $60.

AN AFTERNOON WITH BLACK BEVERAGE ARTISANS NOV 2019

City Winery is pleased to highlight groundbreaking beverage makers during An Afternoon with Black Beverage Artisans on Saturday, November 30 in the music venue.

This informal tasting allows guests to wander, sampling options at their leisure…all from African-American owned wineries, breweries, and distilleries.

Sommeliers will be on hand to answer any questions and make suggestions as to what specific wines will suit your preferences. A DJ will spin tunes to keep you moving.

Informative cocktail demonstrations by our friends the Taste Beverage Company.

Cheese and charcuterie will be provided, and our Chefs will craft a menu with thoughtfully curated dishes.

Butcher and Brew Fest 2019

About: The 3rd Annual Butcher & Brew Fest will be held in Alpharetta on Saturday, November 9 from 2-6pm. Celebrating the best of craft beer, the third annual event will feature food from Butcher & Brew, live music by Fire & The Knife, games and more. Butcher & Brew Fest 3 will bring together 30 craft breweries from Atlanta and around the world; highlights include Creature Comforts Brewing Co., SweetWater Brewing Company, Terrapin Beer Co., Allagash Brewing Co., New Belgium Brewing and Wicked Weed Brewing. General admission tickets can be purchased for $40 here and include entrance to the festival as well as unlimited pours from more than 60 beer choices and entry into a raffle for a Big Green Egg. Plus, a portion of proceeds from Butcher & Brew Fest 3 will be donated to Giving Kitchen.

Rhythm & Brews 2019

About: Reynolds Lake Oconee and OPAS (Oconee Performing Arts Society) are excited to present the third annual Rhythm & Brews Festival. The festival will kick off at 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 26 at Reynolds Lake Oconee’s historic Sandy Creek Barn. Headlining the 2019 festival are five world-renowned rock stars, including Scott Stapp of Creed, Jason Scheff of Chicago, Emmerson Hart of Tonic, Matt Scannell of Vertical Horizon and Don Barnes of .38 Special. Each veteran musician will be accompanied by the Nashville-based band SIXWIRE. General admission is $150 and includes access to the craft beer and wine tasting, concert and shuttle service. For guests seeking the ultimate Rhythm & Brews experience, VIP tickets are available for $250 and include general admission access plus exclusive VIP amenities including a tasting experience inside the Sandy Creek Barn with special wine offerings, a VIP hospitality suite at the concert with complimentary food offerings, a dedicated cash bar and comfortable seating that includes a reserved seat during the concert. The beer and wine garden will provide more than 30 craft selections for tasting and several award-winning food trucks will be on-site to provide culinary pairings.
