Posted by Liz and John Attaway, 5/8/19

Daylong Outdoor Event at Waterworks Greenspace Features Food Trucks,
Pop-Up Beer Garden, Live Music, Games and More

Enjoy great food, outdoor games and a pop-up beer garden while supporting public greenspaces at Your Land on Tap. The free public event, which takes place on Saturday, May 18 at the new Waterworks Greenspace in West Midtown, benefits The Trust for Public Land and its #10MinWalk vision to ensure every American has access to a great park within a 10-minute walk.

“More than 135,000 people in Atlanta don’t enjoy access to a park within a 10-minute walk of their homes,” says The Trust for Public Land’s State Director George Dusenbury. “At Your Land on Tap, guests will experience the benefits of public greenspaces firsthand and get involved with our efforts to bring more parks to more people in Atlanta.”

Highlights of this daylong event include:

Food trucks by Redbird Events
A pop-up beer garden serving beer and wine from Ormsby’s
Lawn games
Hammocks
Frozen treats from King of Pops
Yoga
Live music

$1 from each refreshment sold benefits The Trust for Public Land.  Your Land on Tap takes place from 12-8 p.m. on Saturday, May 18 at Waterworks Greenspace, adjacent to the City of Atlanta Waterworks at 300 Reservoir Drive NW.
