Posted by Liz and John Attaway, 4/5/19

Opening Day: Tuesday, April 9th

Ponce City Farmers Market runs Tuesday, April 9th through October 29th

Ponce City Farmers Market (PCFM), the weekly producer-only market held at Ponce City Market, is excited to share opening day activations, season offerings, community partners and more to kick off the 2019 season! Featuring fresh produce and goods from farmers and food makers, the market offers an outdoor shopping experience and hangout with good vibes.

Located at the Shed by the entrance to the Atlanta BeltLine, PCFM will be open each Tuesday from April 9 through October 29. Hosted from 4-8pm, it will feature live music and educational chef demonstrations, alongside offerings from local farmers and food artisans.

On opening day (Tuesday, April 9), there will be a pasta ribbon cutting at 4:30pm; pasta-making demos from Bellina Alimentari and So Good Pasta; a Kind Bar pop-up; a TurnTable Yoga class with a live DJ, hosted by fitness app Activvley and CorePower Yoga; SNAP/EBT sign-up with Wholesome Wave Georgia; and reusable snack bag sewing from 5:30-7:30pm with sewing studio and shop Topstitch.

Subsequent markets throughout the season will feature tarot readings from Modern Mystic, weekly “Locally Sewn” craft classes from Topstitch, TurnTable Yoga on the first Tuesday of the month and pop-ups from restaurants at Ponce City Market. The Ponce de Leon Public Library serves as a weekly community partner, hosting fun kids activities, library card sign-ups and books available for check-out.
