WHY:
The Das Best Oktoberfest is proud to kick off at Atlantic Station for the first time ever. Over 5,000 guests are expected at the event and organizers are promising an action-packed day of German/ Beerfest festivities.
This lively festival features over 100 International beers, wines and schnapps from breweries all over the World. Delicious German and Festival foods will include: Bratwursts, Sausages, Sauerkraut, Schnitzel, Pretzels and other traditional staples along with favorite festival foods like funnel cake, etc.
Attendees will be entertained by contests, dancing, and musical performances on stage. The Main Stage will consist of musical acts like: Saved By the Band, 3AM Tokyo, and great traditional Oompah band….. Trans Am Euromuts! Guest will be eligible to win over $1000 in prize money with a variety of contests like: the Miss Oktoberfest Contest, Fingerhalkn, Best Beer Belly Competition, and more!
Watch The Big Game on the Big Screen. The show will have the Georgia Bulldogs game on – against Alabama – Kick off will happen right at 3:30.

WHAT: Red Bull Soapbox Race will cruise into Atlanta on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015. This unique non-motorized racing event challenges experienced racers and amateurs alike to design and build outrageous, human-powered soapbox dream machines and compete against the clock in a downhill race. Each hand-made machine is fueled by creativity, showmanship and the need for speed.

The October 24th event will be the 103rd Red Bull Soapbox Race to ever take place, with the first U.S. race held in St. Louis in 2006. The global event dates back to 2000, when it first took place in Belgium, and has since visited 46 countries. Cincinnati will also host Red Bull Soapbox in 2015.
Great Atlanta Beer Fest 2015

About: On Saturday, September 26th from 3pm to 8pm, Atlanta Beer Festivals will host the 5th Great Atlanta Beer Fest at Turner Field . This event will feature 200+ beers, ciders, and 30+ wines. There will be live music with the Geeks Band, College Football on Big TVs, fun and games on Scout’s Alley and around the event. We’re excited for the onset of pumpkin, porters, and local beers that we haven’t tried yet. Also, this fest has all of the Braves game ambiance with none of the drama. Tickets are $45 until 9/25 and $55 at the door.

Taste of Atlanta 2015

About: On Saturday, September 25th and Sunday, September 26th at Tech Square in Midtown. Now in it’s 14th year, taste of Atlanta is the city’s premier food, wine, beer and cocktail festival that showcases the diversity of Atlanta restaurants and attracts food lovers from Atlanta, the Southeast and beyond. Taste of Atlanta patrons will enjoy some of the best Atlanta restaurants including 4th and Swift, Bartaco, STK with an array of cuisines like Italian, Mexican, American along with, desserts and many other goodies .
