ROCK, WINE, AND STROLL WITH TWO URBAN LICKS AND PARISH

Atlanta, Georgia (March 16, 2017) – TWO urban licks and PARISH are turning it up for a progressive party featuring six wineries, whole lamb and pig barbecues, live music and more on Thursday, March 23rd beginning at 6:30 p.m. Inviting partygoers to sip, explore, indulge and rock out at either restaurant for $40 or stroll between both via the Atlanta BeltLine for $75, Rock, Wine, and Stroll is a wine-infused and food fueled, high-energy event by that is not to be missed.
Curated by Todd Rushing of Concentrics Restaurants, known for his award-winning wine programs at acclaimed restaurants across the country, the winemaker lineup will not disappoint. Wine lovers can explore tastings from favorite wineries and mix and mingle with experts at both Atlanta eateries including Julianna Martinelli, owner of Martinelli Winery; winemaker Luke McCollum of Left Coast Cellars; Cody Wright, winemaker and owner of Purple Hands, Jeremy Baker; president and COO of Thomas George Winery; Justin McColgan of Levendi Winery; and Marc Rafael, owner of Rafael & Fils Wine. Both restaurants are also whipping up specialty cocktails just for the occasion.
Executive Chef Michael Bertozzi of TWO and Executive Chef Stuart Tracey of PARISH have also created mouthwatering menus – satisfying revelers who choose to stay at one location or travel between the two. While live music playing, TWO will be serving whole roasted hog tacos with hand-made tortillas, salsa verde, mole negro, pico de gallo and queso fresco. The fiery tacos will be complimented with house-made guacamole, queso fundido, and oysters on the half shell with pickled habanero mignonette. At PARISH, Chef Tracy’s spit-roasted whole lamb with homemade pita, pickles, and all the traditional condiments will dominate. Guests can also enjoy marinated sweet peppers, sweet and sour eggplant, tahini hummus, fava been, and carrot salad, grilled mushroom, and bulgur salad.
