ALES FOR ASHLEY: RAISING MONEY FOR DEFEAT GBM RESEARCH COLLABORATIVE

“Ales for Ashley” is an event to honor and remember an amazing mom, Ashley Magness. She was diagnosed with a type of brain tumor called a Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM) in May of 2014 and fought the brave fight for 22 months. This is the first annual “Ales for Ashley” event to raise awareness and money to support GBM research. A portion of all ticket sales will go to the “Defeat GBM Research Collaborative” a subsidiary of the National Brain Tumor Society.

A $30 ticket includes entry into the brewery, a free pint glass, 6 tastings, and tour at 7:45 pm. For anyone under 21, or not consuming alcohol, please register for a free ticket. Donations are appreciated.

We will also be holding a silent auction to raise money. Silent auction donations include: Tin Lizzy’s, Arbonne, Six Feet Under, Stella & Dot, Photography sessions, High Museum, Center for Puppetry Arts, Zoo Atlanta, The W, Dad’s Garage, Terminal West, Crossfit, Total Wine, Sig Samuels, FitBit, Monk’s Mead, Atlanta Beer Festivals, College Football Hall of Fame, X3 Sports, and much more!

There will be light hors d’oeuvres (courtesy of RMashelle Catering and Trader Joe’s), water, sodas, live music, darts, and cornhole.

Tickets will be sold online in advance and at the door on the day of the event. To purchase tickets or make donations https://www.eventbrite.com/e/ales-for-ashley-tickets-25174711239

“Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) is the most common, complex, treatment resistant, and deadliest type of brain cancer, accounting for 45% of all brain cancers, with nearly 11,000 men, women, and children diagnosed each year. The time is now to make progress against this disease!” – http://defeatgbm.org/
