Summer’s here and so is the beer! Join us for the 7th Annual Brookhaven Beer Festival, one of Atlanta’s largest and most popular beer tasting events featuring tastings of 200 beers and wines, as well as food from local restaurants and Atlanta’s best food trucks. This year the festival is held at a new location in Brookhaven Park off Peachtree Road at Osborne. Tickets include beer and wine tastings, plus tasting cup and live music from The Velvet Stones and Taste. Ticket are $30 until June 5th and $40 after.

Kicking Off Fall Social Season, Atlanta’s Most Fashionable Fête Will Descend Upon Phipps Plaza for an Unforgettable Evening of Philanthropy and Fun

Atlanta, Georgia (April 25, 2017) –Arbiter of style, Jeffrey Kalinsky, creator of two namesake boutiques in Atlanta and Manhattan, joins Event Chairs Lila Hertz, Jeffrey McQuithy and Louise Sams in producing the official kick-off to the fall social season:  Jeffrey Fashion Cares 2017.  To be held at Phipps Plaza in the heart of Buckhead on Monday, August 28, 2017 at 7 p.m. —the event will be celebrating its 25th anniversary and includes a reception followed by a live auction and runway show featuring Kalinsky’s style selections from high-end designers such as Gucci, Celine, Christian Dior, Givenchy, Valentino, Dries van Noten, Saint Laurent Paris, Balenciaga, Christian Louboutin and Manolo Blahnik.

The 25th anniversary of Jeffrey Fashion Cares will benefit Susan G. Komen Greater Atlanta, the Atlanta AIDS Fund (AAF), and the Medical University of South Carolina.  Last year’s sold-out event raised nearly $700,000 for the organizations, and in its history, Fashion Cares has grown into one of the largest combined AIDS and breast cancer benefits in the country. For the 2017 philanthropic affair, guests are invited to mix, mingle and enjoy an unforgettably stylish evening in a completely transformed and private environment in the Monarch Court at the recently renovated Phipps Plaza. 10th Annual Doggies on the Catwalk

About: Doggies on the Catwalk returns this year for its biggest show to date, with a crowd-pleasing runway lineup that will include Atlanta’s most adorable pups, local personalities, and coveted luxury brands – all coming together for an unforgettable evening of fashion, fun and philanthropy.  The event will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 7 p.m. at the Center Plaza at The Shops Buckhead Atlanta. Last year, the event raised an all-time high of $75,000 for Canine Assistants, a non-profit organization that trains and provides service dogs to children and adults with physical disabilities, seizure conditions or other special needs. In addition to providing loyal companionship, the service dogs are trained to help with essential everyday tasks – from turning lights on and off and opening and closing doors – to pulling wheelchairs, retrieving dropped objects and summoning help. Tickets start at $50 for general admission.

Parish Derby Day Takeover Party 2017

Guests can place their bets as they enjoy live music and sip on mint juleps and nosh on Derby-inspired bites. Before watching the horses run for roses, party goers can strike a pose in the interactive photo booth and enter for the chance to win prizes for the best hat, best dressed and more. Executive Chef Stuart Tracy is pulling out all the stops for what promises to be an unforgettable party.
