About Sweet Auburn Barbecue
Atlanta-style BBQ with an Asian twist, inspired by Malaysian-Chinese roots of founders and siblings Howard and Anita Hsu. Stemming from a passion for good BBQ, they first offered their recipes for smoked meats and homemade sides from a mobile trailer. Atlanta’s diners embraced the menu with great enthusiasm, and Sweet Auburn BBQ business has grown to encompass multiple food trucks, a food stall at Sweet Auburn Curb Market near downtown Atlanta, and a brick-and-mortar restaurant in Atlanta’s Poncey-Highland neighborhood. The restaurant has been ranked among the Best BBQ in Atlanta by Thrillist, the 10 Hottest BBQ Restaurants in Atlanta by Zagat, and featured in The Huffington Post’s “10 Sandwiches You Should Definitely Try Before You Die.”
