Neighborhood Gathering to Feature a Mini Farmers Market, Holiday DJ,
Kid-Friendly Activities and Giveaways!

Paces Properties invites the local community to join together at Larkin on Memorial for their first annual Holiday Block Party this December. From delicious bites and children’s activities to games and festive giveaways, the Larkin Holiday Block Party will celebrate the season and be filled with fun for the entire family.

Decked out with delicious samples and goodies from Larkin’s tenants, guests can expect to come ready for some festive fun. Grant Park Market will host a one-of-a-kind Mini Farmer’s Market featuring delicious seasonal produce goods, and additional tenants will be set up throughout the corridor to provide light bites and drinks. VibeRide will also be hosting a pop-up cycling class during the event, so don’t forget to bring your tennis shoes! The best part of the block party? A few lucky patrons will win block party prizes from some of the center’s mainstays.

“We’ve been wanting to host a neighborhood get-together for a while now, so we are thrilled to be able to get Larkin’s first Holiday Block Party on the calendar this holiday season,” said David Cochran, CEO of Paces Properties. “Larkin has become a project for neighborhood necessities, delicious food and entertainment, so this will be a wonderful family-friendly way to come together, mix and mingle, listen to music, eat, shop and socialize with the tenants and neighbors.”

A block party isn’t complete without festivities for the kids. Primrose Schools will be on-site to host holiday-themed craft activities, and a DJ will be spinnin’ classic holiday tunes, getting the whole family in the spirit. After the festivities conclude, be sure to stop in one of the delicious eateries for additional food and beverage.

The Wolf Pack is back!

The original version of this Imperial Sweet Stout was aged in Vanilla Bourbon Barrels on liquid cacao, toasted coconut and Tongan vanilla beans. We then moved it to a 7 year old Knob Creek 121 proof barrel and let it sit for a year.

Wolf Pack V2 is coming in two variations:
🍫Mexi-Cocoa – Peruvian chocolate, Vietnamese cinnamon bark & Madagascar vanilla caviar

🌰Rocky Road – Peruvian chocolate, toasted marshmallow & almonds and Madagascar vanilla caviar.

We will have Wolf Pack available for $15 per bottle during the release! After the release the prices will go up to $20.

-KBA – 7.5% Starting its life as a Strong Amber Ale, Kennesaw Bourbon Ale is transformed through the addition of American Oak from our spirit program. The addition of the oak cubes delivers delicious vanilla and oak notes, while still maintaining the smooth Amber base.
-Barrel Aged Quad – A huge 12% Belgian Quadruple brewed with dark candi sugar and aged in Woodford Double Barrels for 6 months.
-Bad Hombre 10%- Mexican Style Imperial Stout brewed with dried Ancho & Habanero Chilies, Vanilla Beans, Cacao Nibs and Cinnamon sticks. Notes of dark chocolate, tobacco, and spice on the nose lead into rich flavors of chocolate and dried figs, with subtle hints of cinnamon.
-Rye Barrel Aged Bad Hombre –  11% – An even badder version of Bad Hombre aged in Woodford Rye Whiskey barrels for 14 months.
-Cask: Rum raisin porter cask: 8% Porter cask conditioned on Rum soaked raisins!

Top Culinary Talent, Live Music and Artisan Vendors Return for Night Market’s Outdoor Holiday Edition

Next month at December’s Night Market, The Home Depot Backyard will be taken over by the smells, sounds and bright colors of a globally inspired market, featuring Atlanta’s top culinary talent, live music, and a colorful array of artisan vendors to kick off the holiday season. Crackling fire pits will invite guests to cozy up where they can enjoy the evening under the stars sipping cocktails and shopping the curated market for the perfect gift. Located in the heart of downtown Atlanta outside of Mercedes-Benz Stadium, the market offers visitors the chance to experience all the international feel and fun without the trouble of fitting their gifts and treats in their suitcase.

“On the heels of our most successful market to date, Night Market is delighted to welcome even more of Atlanta’s top chefs and one-of-a-kind artisan vendors for December. We wanted to create a festive twist this month and truly make it special for the holiday edition, making it a unique experience even for guests who have attended before,” said Latonda Henderson, Director of Community Activation at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. “Despite the open-air setting, the market maintains the same intimate feeling as if you were celebrating the holidays in your friend’s backyard.”

While sipping on holiday-inspired cocktails prepared by celebrated mixologists, Tiffanie Barriere and Kellie Thorn, guests will also be able to shop a unique selection of goods at the artisan market, curated by local favorite, Indie Craft Experience. Here they can spoil friends and family (or grab a little something for themselves) with unique finds from the market pop-up, all while supporting local businesses including Atlas Candle Co., Fox + Fern Botanicals, Paper & Piece, and more.

CITY WINERY ATLANTA HOLIDAY EVENTS 2019

City Winery, the restaurant, urban winery, private event space and intimate music venue, has released its December lineup of culinary and beverage events at the popular Atlanta location in Ponce City Market. Atlantans and visitors alike can take advantage of an array of mouthwatering opportunities including plenty of wine sampling opportunities to enjoy on cold winter nights.

On December 10th, Atlanta can visit the Tasting Room at City Winery for Lift Your Spirits, An Elevated Tasting Featuring Compass Box Scotch. Guests will enjoy Limited Edition Blended Single Malt Scotch Whisky from Compass Box. Compass Box is based on the lost model of the Scotch whisky blending house.

Starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $50 plus applicable fees. 

On December 17th, Atlanta can visit the Tasting Room at City Winery for Lift your Spirits, An Elevated Tasting Featuring ASW Distillery. With family roots in Ireland, France and England and more locally in Athens Georgia, Jim Chasteen, Charlie Thompson and Justin Manglitz, began ASW Distillery because of their passion for spirits “crafted with character”. The range of whiskies demonstrates individuality and true whiskey craftmanship.

Starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $40 plus applicable fees.

On December 18th, Ponce City Market’s Posman Books and City Winery team up to host Books & Booze to host a spirited discussion among literature fanatics. December’s book discussion is centered around Beartown by Fredrik Backman.

Starts at 7 p.m. $10 RSVP goes towards food & beverage.

On December 19th, Atlanta can visit City Winery for City Winery Explorer Series Featuring Wines of Casa Rojo Winery. At Casa Rojo, wine is seen as the expression of a family, a land, a climate, and ultimately of an origin. Wines will be tasted from the varied regions throughout Spain.

Starts 7 p.m. Tickets are $40 plus applicable fees.

Atlanta can visit City Winery on December 21st for City Winery’s Holiday Cookie Decorating Party. Guests will receive a choice of hot chocolate or mulled wine, cookies and decorating materials. Wine tastings will also be offered, and City Winery wines will be available for purchase. Cheese and charcuterie will be provided.

Starts at 1 p.m. Tickets are $30 plus applicable fees. 

Stanky Wine, a Dirty South Hip Hop Natural Wine Bar pop-up, will throw The Stanky Stomp, a Day-Time Dance Party on December 22nd at City Winery. This day-time dance party will feature tastings of 25 wines, small bites, and a live DJ.

Starts 1 p.m. Tickets are $50 plus applicable fees.

On December 23rd, City Winery will explore holiday wine pairings with classic foods of the season during City Winery Holiday Wine Pairing. City Winery chefs will prepare traditional holiday dishes while Sommeliers will explain how to enhance meals with ideal wine pairings. This will be a great opportunity for guests to make new friends and get an early start to the Holiday season.
