Buckhead’s flower fête of the season is back in Buckhead Village with the third annual Bodacious Blooms Flower Festival, slated to make its lively return Thursday, May 2 through Saturday, May 4. Stacked with design heavy hitters including nationally acclaimed London-based paper floral designer Zoe Bradley and Canaan Marshall, renowned Atlanta-based florist of HBO Max’s “Full Bloom” who is returning for his third consecutive year, the community-wide spectacle invites visitors and floral enthusiasts for a weekend of floral installations, hands-on floral workshops from expert floral designers, in-store events, and photo-ready moments.

Alongside Bodacious Blooms veteran florist Canaan Marshall, decorated paper floral designer Zoe Bradley will be joining the ranks this year from London as an acclaimed headliner to show her world-renowned paper sculptures and transform Buckhead Village with magical 3D masterpieces. Having journeyed along an uncommon path, Bradley is a fashion-trained artist who apprenticed with the late icon Alexander McQueen (where she helped create some of his key show pieces) before discovering her love of paper while making experimental, hand-pleated showpieces for Japanese fashion designer Michiko Koshino. With luxury clients ranging from Louis Vuitton, Dior and Estee Lauder to Tiffany & Co., Graff, and Christian Louboutin, Bradley’s work has been featured in publications around the world, including British VogueBritish Harper’s BazaarWallpaper, and Italian Casa Vogue, as well as inclusion in several published books and exhibits in London, Amsterdam, Hong Kong, New York, Rio de Janeiro, and Sydney.

Recognized worldwide as a magician for turning a sheet of 2D paper into a monumental 3D stunners, Bradley will bring her talents to The Veranda, Buckhead Village’s outdoor public gathering space, where she will soon unveil a sensational art installation in celebration of this year’s Bodacious Blooms festival. 

Best known for his electric energy and knack for turning the everyday into elegant, decorated Southern designer Canaan Marshall will return for another weekend of show-stopping blooms, floral design workshops and meaningful conversations around the art of floral design, and is set to splash The Veranda’s interior space with a vibrant, live floral install.

From Macon to Atlanta and beyond, Marshall is known for his gorgeous tablescapes, over-the-top mantels, and breathtaking bridal bouquets. In addition to his appearance as a contestant on Season 2 of HBO Max’s Full Bloom, his work can be found in the pages of Southern LivingModern LuxuryFlower MagazineTraditional Home, and Macon Magazine.

For the third year, Jamestown’s Buckhead Village will be partnering with neighboring destinations including Shops Around Lenox, Peachtree Plaza, Atlanta Financial CenterHyatt PlaceThe IntercontinentalThe Kimpton Sylvan HotelResurgens PlazaPATH MuseumBuckhead Tower, and Buckhead Blooms for a walkable weekend with a budding line-up of ticketed events, flower brunches, still life workshops, and over-the-top installations across all properties. Meanwhile on property, Buckhead Village will host an array of live music, themed events, beverages and treats, and in-store happenings from restaurants and retailers including Alice + Olivia, Bella Cucina, Billy Reid, B.M. Franklin, Brown & Co., Buckhead Art & Company, Carousel Fine Art, Fetch Park, Frances Valentine, Gypsy Kitchen, Italian Luxury Interiors, Jenni Kayne, Jerrimiah James, PLANTA Queen, rag & bone, The Daily Pilates, Todd Snyder, Wolford, and Yeppa & Co., and of course, various complementary floral stops along the way.

Thursday, May 2, 5:30-7pm at Carousel Fine Art (Buckhead Village)

Meet three creatives known for curating florals throughout their designs and work: London-based paper artist Zoe Bradley; Atlanta-based floral designer Canaan Marshall; and interior designer Whitney Durham. Moderated by Ann Howe, Managing Director of Schumacher, the conversation will be centered around incorporating florals into the every day – both personally and professionally – and how florals inspire their respective crafts. 

Tickets are $75 and include wine provided by Wölffer Estate, light bites prepared by Brush Sushi, an exclusive gift bag, and access to Carousel Fine Arts’ evening event – Spring Reverie: A Contemporary Exploration of Eric Alfaro’s Transient Blossoms –  following the panel.

Friday, May 3, 11:30am-1:30pm at The Veranda at Buckhead Village

Canaan Marshall is returning to Buckhead Village to host a hands-on floral arrangement class in which participants will be guided in designing a breathtaking floral arrangement with Canaan’s signature effortless style. 

This floral experience will be an introductory class perfect for anyone who would like to learn to use everyday floral elements to enhance their next tablescape. Hosted by Buckhead Village, the workshop will take place in the beautiful, weather-protected, open-air pavilion called The Veranda – located at the corner of Bolling Way and Buckhead Avenue, across from Le Bilboquet. Attendees will be provided with florals, a vessel, and all necessary supplies to design a beautiful centerpiece to bring home. 

Tickets are $225 and include a centerpiece floral arrangement ($200 value), an apron & floral shears to use during the workshop, unlimited wine, rosé and non-alcoholic refreshments from Wölffer Estate, a delectable boxed lunch from Bella Cucina, and a three-hour parking validation (*applicable for Buckhead Village parking decks only, not valet).

Saturday, May 4, 8-10am (7am check-in)

buckheadRUN! – Livable Buckhead’s sixth annual 5K – returns! Livable Buckhead is encouraging runners of all ages and abilities to join the fun (and to bring their four-legged friends)! Runners can celebrate spring by dressing in flower-themed costumes and garb. Livable Buckhead will award prizes for the best flower costumes.

This year’s field of runners will follow a new USA Track and Field-certified course that begins at Lenox Square, follows PATH400 to Miami Circle then takes Piedmont Road and East Paces Ferry Road to Buckhead Village. buckheadRUN! is a 2025 Peachtree Road Race qualifier. 

In addition to awards for the fastest runners in various age groups, buckheadRUN! includes a “Fastest Fido” category, bandana giveaways for dogs, a pre-race hype event, and a post-race celebration. Register here.

Saturday, May 4, 10am-4pm

Buckhead Village invites visitors for a day of chic floral installations, live music, sweet treats and in-store promotions! ATL Girl Gang will curate an outdoor, botanical-themed vendor market uplifting women-owned businesses, alongside a blooming floral truck, a vintage photo booth, flower-crown making stations, and yard games. Entry is complimentary and the first 100 guests will receive a special gift.
