Bully Boy’s house sommelier, Emma Rubenstein, has partnered with Avant Partir Wines for a dinner dedicated to championing women winemakers. Alongside Avant Partir Wines, Georgia’s expert on fine wines and spirits, Rubenstein will present a curated selection of five outstanding wines crafted by women or from women-led wineries for guests to sip and savor. Enjoy each glass with Japanese kaiseki-style small plates—a decadent collection of seafood-focused dishes. ATLANTA WINTER WINE FESTIVAL 2023

Atlanta Wine Festivals will host the Atlanta Winter Wine Festival at City Winery on Saturday, January 21, 2023.  We will have 2 Session: 12pm-4pm and 6pm-10pm. We will feature 50+ different wines, beers and White Claw to sample.

Enjoy the awesome venue with Live Music upstairs, and beats by DJ Qtip on the main stage downstairs (both sessions).

Festival Tickets are $45 advance, $50 after Jan. 12, and $60 day of event

Join Cate Hatch to discover what exciting developments have been emerging from winemakers in California. Our class will be held in an otherwise closed-to-the-public Southern Belle from 6:30-7:30 PM on Wednesday, October 26.

13TH ANNUAL KIRKWOOD WINE STROLL

The 13th annual Kirkwood Wine Stroll is on Friday, September 20, 7:00-10:00pm and located in Historic Kirkwood. Proceeds from the Wine Stroll are used to enhance the downtown business district and help fund other Kirkwood nonprofit organizations and events. There are over 84 wines bringing together a wonderful selection of global wine samples with local food available for purchase and great local bands.

Dining options include tapas type portions available for purchase through amazing local food vendors like Urban Pie, Kirkyard Public House, Poppa Corns: Gourmet Popcorn, Artistic Soul Catering. There will also local craft beer selections from Second Self Beer Company. Other businesses will offer specials, discounts, prize drawings, and fun demonstrations.

A diverse music line up of local bands will be performing on jazz, acoustic and electric stages: Elegant Bachelors, Cosmic Debris,PRINCE: A Celebration of the Genius, Bonaventure Quartet, Will Scruggs, The Bullfrogs, Brian Revels, and Vivian Slade.

City Winery’s Judgment on Ponce Blind Tasting Challenge

Date: Thursday, July 25th

Time: 7 pm

About: City Winery offers a chance for budding wine fans to put their skills to the test at the Judgment on Ponce Blind Tasting Challenge. On July 25th, guests will sample 6 to 8 wines, guess the varietals and region, and decide which is best. Each month features a different theme such as Oregon vs. Bourgogne or Italy vs. Spain. The guest who most accurately scores the wines and is able to guess the theme and regions will win a wine-related prize. Cheese, charcuterie and light bites will be provided. A winery tour is also included. Starts 7 p.m. Tickets are $60 plus applicable fees.
