WHO:                    Glendalough, Ireland’s first craft distillery, is inviting guests to embrace their inner wild side at an early St. Patrick’s Day Party with renowned mixologist Sorcha Murnane and team at Ladybird Grove & Mess Hall, a hip New-American bar and restaurant offering a campfire & lodge theme.

WHAT:                  On Sunday, March 13 from 7:00 – 10:00 p.m., Glendalough Distillery is hosting an early St. Patrick’s Day Party in celebration of their Double Barrel Irish Whiskey at Ladybird in Atlanta. This high-end event will feature Double Barrel whiskey cocktails from Murnane and the Ladybird team, live wood carving demonstrations and discussions with Glendalough’s rugged “mountain man,” traditional Irish games, and more.

Glendalough Distillery’s Double Barrel Irish Whiskey is at the forefront of an exciting Irish whiskey revival. Available in leading bars and retailers in New York and across the US, this award-winning hand-crafted small batch spirit is a new caliber of Irish whiskey, boasting unique richness and complexity. The Double Barrel is a drink of distinguished sociability, that dares to stand out in a world of copycats and “same old” styles. The Glendalough team hopes drinkers do the same this St. Patrick’s Day, embracing their inner wild sides from the first sip.

About Glendalough Distillery

Determined to carve their own way, five friends from Dublin and Wicklow founded Glendalough Distillery to revive Ireland’s lost heritage of great spirits distillation and create innovative, exciting brands. Together, they created Ireland’s first craft distillery in Glendalough, harnessing fourteen centuries of Irish spirits-making tradition that stretches back to monks who made the world’s first distilled spirit—poitín—as early as 548 A.D. On every Glendalough Distillery bottle, the image of St. Kevin represents the distillery’s embrace of this ancient heritage and the notoriously independent Irish character. The Glendalough Distillery range includes two poitíns, 7- and 13-year old single malt Irish whiskeys, two seasonal, botanical gins, and the new Double Barrel Irish Whiskey.
