Atlanta, GA — Back for the sixth rendition, wine connoisseurs are invited to the Uncorked Atlanta Wine Festival at Park Tavern hosted by Atlanta Sport & Social Club on Saturday, February 3, 2018 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Overlooking the picturesque Midtown skyline and Piedmont Park, revelers can enjoy over 50 varieties of complimentary wine and craft beer tastings, including an extensive list of cabernets, chardonnays, merlots, Park Tavern’s handcrafted brews, and much more, while jiving to DJ performances and challenging each other to wine-themed trivia, blind taste testing and much more. Hungry partygoers can also nosh on local favorites including burgers, bowls, tacos, salads, sandwiches, fresh sushi and more. In addition to tastings, music and more, attendees will receive an Uncorked Atlanta tasting glass as a souvenir. Tickets are available for ages 21 and up online for $42 and are $54 at the door. Atlanta, GA — Thousands of music and food loving festivalgoers can gather at Park Tavern in Piedmont Park to celebrate Oysterfest with Spiral Entertainment on Saturday, February 17, 2018. Conveniently located on the Atlanta Beltline in the heart of Midtown, revelers can get shucked up on fresh, regional, fried, raw, and steamed oysters, Park Tavern’s signature fried shrimp, ice-cold brews, handcrafted cocktails and more.
With live music performances throughout the day, Coyote Anyway will crank up the amplifiers with a fresh, yet familiar tone at 2 p.m., before the Atlanta-based southern rock group, Moody Hollow, hits the stage. Then, Members Only, a tribute band bringing revelers back to the 80s, will keep the party rolling until Atlanta Funk Society takes the mic. The 12-piece funk band will fill the headliner spot, serving up classic hits from the 60s, 70s, and 80s including: “Superbad” by James Brown, “Whatcha Gonna Do For Me” by Chaka Kahn, and of course, offer an unparalleled high energy performance that promises to be unforgettable. About: The 2nd annual Atlanta Winter Wine Fest will be held on Saturday, January 20th at City Winery. Due to overwhelming popularity last year, we will have two sessions: Noon – 4 pm and 6 -10 pm. We will have over 50 wines as well as a selection of beer to choose from. There will be live music and a DJ, and food will be available for purchase. The wine list will be added to the website soon. About: Join the Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces (AFFPS) on Saturday, January 20 and Sunday, January 21, 2018, as they celebrate the fifth annual Callanwolde Arts Festival. The award-winning, two-day indoor festival is located in one of Atlanta’s most distinctive historic properties, the 27,000-square foot Callanwolde Mansion in Druid Hills, and features approximately 86 painters, photographers, sculptors, metalwork, glass artists, jewelers and more. The festival, which is open to all ages, will also offer artist demonstrations, live acoustic music, food trucks with healthy alternatives, and live music and dance performances. Admission is $5 at the door. Art lovers are also invited to take advantage of the ticketed V.I.P. Preview Sales Party on Friday, January 19th from 6 to 9 p.m. Upon arrival, guests will be greeted with a glass of wine to sip on as they stroll throughout the historic home and will be the first to view and shop the artwork showcased at this year’s festival. Guests are also invited to enjoy complimentary hors-d’oeuvres while they mix and mingle with the artists and enjoy live acoustic music. Admission to the V.I.P. Preview Sales Party is $20 and is open to all ages. Tickets can be purchased at the door.
