Atlanta, Georgia – Celebrating 10 years of success, the crew at Diesel Filling Station will be hosting an all-day extravaganza featuring frosty brews, delicious eats, drink specials, music and more on Saturday, June 16, 2018.  The shenanigans kick off at noon and guests are invited to take advantage of $10 beer and shot specials – Jameson or Fireball shots paired with a choice of Monday Night Brewing draft beer, $10 PBR pitchers, and a $10 make-your-own Bloody Mary bar, which will be a weekly fixture every Sunday from 12:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the coveted dive bar. The veritable Who’s Who of Diesel bartenders throughout its 10 year history will be on hand beginning at noon and rotating every hour, slinging drinks and trading barbs with regulars and guests alike as they donate their tips to The Giving Kitchen.

Knowing that man (and woman) cannot live off of booze alone, food specials will be offered throughout the day by pop-up kitchen partner Heady Pies that will be creating a specialty $10 pizza just for the anniversary, The Death Pie, an ode to the Death Muffin with a fresh butter base, chopped bacon, sage sausage, a cheddar and mozzarella blend, fried eggs, maple syrup swirl and an optional blackberry drizzle. For burger fans, The Diesel Burger, a beef patty with bacon, an onion ring, cheddar and BBQ on challah bun will also be available. Additionally, Heady Pies will be helping to launch Diesel’s new brunch menu featuring The Hangover breakfast pizza, The Eleven, French toast style Eggo waffles and fried chicken, Skip’s Scramble egg dish and Post-Coital Carbonara spaghetti with guanciale, parmesan and a cream sauce. Heady Pies is also fueling the Diesel Bloody Mary bar, which pops up during brunch and will feature: cheese pizza, Slim Jim’s, dill pickles, gherkin pickles, pepperoni, prosciutto, horseradish, heirloom cherry tomatoes, au jus, XXX hot sauce and pickled asparagus.

As the day turns into night DJ Sleepy Demon will provide the soundtrack for the anniversary festivities from 5 p.m. until midnight while guests play drinking games on the patio, including: cornhole, beer pong and giant Jenga. Guests looking to remember the auspicious occasion can purchase Diesel 10th Anniversary shirts, trucker hats and coozies for… you guessed it, $10.  For more information visit www.dieselatlanta.com.
