Budweiser’s Second Annual Bud & Burgers Festival Announced

ATLANTA, May 23, 2016 – Budweiser, in partnership with Atlanta-based radio stations ROCK 100.5 and 99X, will host the second annual Bud & Burgers Festival at Brookhaven Park on June 25, 2016. The festival will showcase 20 to 25 local restaurants as they compete for the “Best Burger in Atlanta” and a chance to win a share of $10,000 in cash and prizes.

“We’re excited to bring this event back to the community and make it bigger and better than before,” said BJ Dillahey, senior sales director for Georgia at Anheuser-Busch. “Budweiser has a long history of being paired with the classic all-American burger and the festival presents a great opportunity to try the best recipes from Atlanta’s top restaurants in a fun atmosphere with musical entertainment and a crisp, cold all-American Budweiser.”

The Bud & Burgers festival will also feature live music from bands including Kick the Robot, The Quaildogs, The Francisco Vidal Band, Civil Twilight and Tonic. For attendees who are 21 and older, Budweiser will be offering samples and featuring games and exciting giveaways.  The Bud & Burgers food truck will also be on site serving a specialty hamburger made with America’s No. 1 full-flavored lager.

The Budweiser Bud & Burgers festival is free and open to the public. A limited number of premium tickets are available for purchase and include a special souvenir, VIP privileges, a burger sample from each of five different restaurants and a sample serving of Budweiser for those over 21 years of age.
