GET READY FOR RED BULL SOAPBOX RACE IN ATLANTA

Saturday, October 24th at Noon

Location: Old Fourth Ward Park

WHAT: Red Bull Soapbox Race will cruise into Atlanta on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015. This unique non-motorized racing event challenges experienced racers and amateurs alike to design and build outrageous, human-powered soapbox dream machines and compete against the clock in a downhill race. Each hand-made machine is fueled by creativity, showmanship and the need for speed.

The South’s most witty and innovative teams will race each other down the twists and turns of North Avenue. Red Bull Soapbox Race is a single day of thrills, so the number of contestants will be limited. Teams are chosen based on creativity, technical feasibility of the craft build, craft safety and originality. Applications are closed but the event is upon us, get ready by going to: redbull.com/soapboxATL.
