2018 SUMMER ON THE PATIO AT ATLAS

Now, every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, Atlas, located at the St. Regis Atlanta, invites guests to enjoy live acoustic music from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. on their expansive patio. Showcasing the musical talents of Atlanta’s own Lilac Wine on Wednesday and Fridays and Melissa Bret on Thursdays, diners, and imbibers can savor mouth-watering culinary creations and signature libations as they take in a sweet and soulful musical recipe. When the weather doesn’t permit, Lilac Wine, comprised of Alexandrea Lushington on lead vocals, Grant Reynolds on guitar and Robert Henson on bass, and solo artist Melissa Bret will move inside to Atlas’ comfortably elegant lounge – best known as the Tavern at Atlas.

East Atlanta Craft Beer Festival 2018

The 15th Annual East Atlanta Craft Beer Festival is back and once again it’s under the majestic oaks and maples of East Atlanta’s Brownwood Park from 1 pm to 5pm. It will feature a sampling of more than 200 craft beers! All ticketholders receive a souvenir tasting glass, and VIP ticketholders receive early entry (noon) and lots of special and limited edition beers to sample. There will be food trucks/vendors and great music, too. Since 2004, the East Atlanta Foundation has returned all proceeds from this volunteer-created and volunteer-staffed event to local organizations and projects that make East Atlanta a great place to live. Tickets for general admission are $60 and VIP will run you $80.

Atlanta Fermentation Festival 2018

In conjunction with the grand opening of Cultured South, the company will host the 2nd annual Atlanta Fermentation Fest on Sunday, May 20th from noon to 6pm at Lee + White. The festival was created last year to grow awareness about fermentation and educate the community about the history and health benefits of traditional fermented foods. Attendees can expect fermented products from around two dozen local and regional producers, educational science demonstrations, seasonal kombucha on tap, kombucha mocktails, live music and much more. At-home fermentation pros are encouraged to bring their own cultures for a ‘culture swap,’ and all guests can enjoy bites from food truck Alkaline Junkie––a mobile wellness cafe, and other fermented foods and drinks including chocolate, coffee, vegan cheeses, beer, cider, honey, sourdough crackers and breads, and more. Tickets are $10 to $35.
