ALLORA: DIVERSE NEW ITALIAN CONCEPT FROM CONCENTRIC RESTAURANTS

From octopus to lamb pasta and arugula salad, brussels sprouts to wagyu flank steak, Allora is a diverse new Italian concept from our friends Concentrics Restaurants. The restaurant is nestled down in a cozy building on the corner of Atlantic Station and 17th. The décor was also cozy and warm with low lighting and a stunning wood bar, but of course, the star of the show was the food! Let’s take a walk through the menu together.

PARK TAVERN IN PIEDMONT PARK PRESENTS MIDTOWN BRUNCHFEST

Imbibers and diners are invited to brunch the day away at Park Tavern’s Midtown Brunchfest on Sunday, February, 25, 2018. Beginning at 12:30 p.m., brunch lovers can nosh on delicious breakfast bowls, scrambled eggs served with crispy bacon, tater tots smothered and covered, toasted bagels served with cream cheese and cured salmon, a Krispy Kreme station with all the fixings including: whipped cream, strawberries and chocolate; a biscuit station with county ham and sausage; Park Tavern’s signature raw and special baked oysters; and much more. Partygoers can also enjoy libations such as mimosas, bloody marys served with fresh cocktail shrimp, Domaine Ste Michelle Brut Rosé, additional Domaine Ste Michelle champagnes, craft beers, a wide variety of wines, signature handcrafted cocktails and more.

2018 ATLANTA UNITED BLOCK PARTY

Join thousands of fans on Saturday, March 10th in Virginia Highlands for the inaugural Atlanta United Block Party, ATL’s first open-streets celebration of all things #ATLUTD. We’re closing down North Highland Ave., and celebrating with giveaways, live entertainment and raffle prizes on the block as we prep for the first match! Plus, we’re partnering with the local pubs to offer exclusive drink specials for Atlanta United fans during the event. Tickets include one complimentary drink, t-shirt, and more.

CAMP HORIZON’S 2018 FOSTER THE FUNK

On Saturday, February 17, 2018, Camp Horizon of Georgia will celebrate our 36th year as an organization and our second annual Foster the Funk fundraiser. This fun-filled event held at Terminal West in Atlanta’s West Midtown is their biggest fundraiser of the year. In 2017, this event sold out in just a couple of weeks (330+ people) and raised over $74,000! This year, they’re expecting 600 people to attend, and the goal is to raise over $100,000! On top of that, they want to take you to Funky Town! Join them for a night filled with rad 80’s music by Electric Avenue, good food, cash bar, silent auction, raffle, and their life-changing mission. Uncorked Atlanta Wine Festival 2018

Back for the sixth rendition, wine connoisseurs are invited to the Uncorked Atlanta Wine Festival at Park Tavern hosted by Atlanta Sport & Social Club on Saturday, February 3, 2018 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Overlooking the picturesque Midtown skyline and Piedmont Park, revelers can enjoy over 50 varieties of complimentary wine and craft beer tastings, including an extensive list of cabernets, chardonnays, merlots, Park Tavern’s handcrafted brews, and much more, while jiving to DJ performances and challenging each other to wine-themed trivia, blind taste testing and much more. Hungry partygoers can also nosh on local favorites including burgers, bowls, tacos, salads, sandwiches, fresh sushi and more. In addition to tastings, music and more, attendees will receive an Uncorked Atlanta tasting glass as a souvenir. Tickets are available for ages 21 and up online for $42 and are $54 at the door.

Orpheus Souperbowl I

It’s the first annual Souperbowl Soup Competition and canned food drive from Orpheus Brewing. Participating restaurants from all over Atlanta are bringing their best recipes to you and a panel of expert judges for the opportunity to be awarded, “Best Soup of Atlanta.” Restaurant Participants include 5Church Atlanta, General Muir, Holeman and Finch Public House, The Iberian Pig, The Nook, The Pig and The Pearl, The Shed at Glenwood, Venkman’s and so many more. As a guest, you will have the opportunity to sample each soup from participating competitors and will be provided with three sample pours of our beer. Guest will then fill out their ballots and vote for their favorites! We encourage you to bring a few spare canned goods with you for a chance to be a part of our raffle. Can food donations will be accepted at the brewery from now until February 3rd at noon. Each can donated will enter you into our raffle for a chance to win a gift basket of Orpheus favorites! Winner will be announced following the Soup Competition judgment. All proceeds from this event will be donated to The Atlanta Community Food Bank, helping to feed our neighbors in need. Tickets Are $19 plus fees to attend.
