Specials and where to celebrate Father’s Day this year!
Sun., June 20 – “Flight of Dads for Dad’s Day” at Second Self Beer Co.
To celebrate beer-loving dads around town, Second Self is offering a “Flight of Dads for Dad’s Day” special featuring three variations of their pastry stout Dad series:
Dad Made Breakfast – the original imperial stout with coffee and oats
Stepdad Made Breakfast – an imperial stout with coffee, oats, blueberries and maple syrup
Grandad Made Breakfast – an imperial stout with coffee and oats aged in bourbon barrels for 20 months
Available as a flight for $10, this special will be available only on Father’s Day at the Westside brewery. The beers can also be purchased individually throughout the weekend and following week surrounding the holiday.
Sun., June 20 – “Tie One On” Father’s Day Event at Hampton + Hudson
Dads can head to Hampton + Hudson as early as 10am on Sunday for brunch, served until 2:30pm. At 2pm, the Atlanta United game against Philadelphia will be played throughout the restaurant with sound. Drink specials offered all day will include $3 Monday Night brews and $5 Elijah Craig Old Fashioneds. Plus, the first 25 Dads in the door will receive a Monday Night Brewing tie, Elijah Craig socks and other swag.
Father’s Day food specials will include a Double Decker Smash Burger with bacon and onion rings and a Bone-In Ribeye with bone marrow butter and Belgian fries.

New Retail Concepts to the Redevelopment, Set to Open Mid-Summer 2021
On the heels of announcing a September opening at The Eastern music venue and its first retail tenant, YOUNG BLOOD, Atlanta Dairies is thrilled to unveil three new retail tenants from Dan Collier. Set to open at the historic redevelopment mid-summer, City Champion, Proper Wax, and Paradiso Plant Shop are three new concepts from Dan Collier and team, most notably known for shops across Atlanta and beyond including The Merchant, Archer Paper Goods, Sweet Inman’s, Collier Candy Co., Daily Dose, Read Shop and more.
“We have a long-standing relationship with Dan Collier, and his shops have been key retail components to many of our development projects, including Krog Street Market, Vinings Jubilee, and Optimist Hall in Charlotte,” said David Cochran, President and CEO of Paces Properties. “We are thrilled to have Collier’s shops as part of the Atlanta Dairies retail lineup and even more thrilled to be home to three new concepts for the growing Collier brand.”
From its inception, Collier and his team found interest in the fast-growing Reynoldstown redevelopment. “When COVID hit, I encouraged my team to study trends to best predict what retail may look like post-pandemic, and with that came these new adventures which we cannot wait to execute,” said Collier, Principal at daniel*richards. “It’s always exciting to be a part of something bigger than ourselves. CITY CHAMPION

City Champion brings back the nostalgia of the glory days while pairing contemporary style with old-school cool. Based out of Atlanta, City Champion is set to focus on regional apparel that represents the civic pride of the city and the state of Georgia. Most items carried will be custom-made by City Champion and manufactured in-house. Amid City Champion’s athletic-themed shop, guests will find unique apparel, gifts like postcards and pins, and vintage pieces that will make them feel victorious.
PROPER WAX
Stats: 516 SF
Proper Wax will be the go-to place for all candle lovers, new and old. The shop will carry well-known popular candle brands mixed with new-to-market candlemakers. Proper Wax’s doors will open with curated candles for even the most selective candle enthusiast. Fixtures throughout the space carry clean lines and will marry industrial metal shelving and brass lighting.
PARADISO PLANT SHOP
Stats: 1,339 SF
Paradiso Plant Shop will make any humble abode a living paradise. The shop will focus on houseplants, plant accessories, and plant supplies and will carry all things needed for new and experienced plant parents. Paradiso’s ceramic and planter selection will have an emphasis on small-batch and local artisans. Guests can expect the space to have a southwestern flair with deep greens, orange crush tile, and copper accents.

Situated in the heart of Buckhead’s shopping district, Shops Around Lenox is inviting Atlantans and visitors alike to explore, celebrate and purchase works from an array of local artists during its new summer pop-up gallery series. Kicking off Saturday, June 12, 2021, the art-infused, summer series will be held twice a month on June 12th and 26th, July 10th and 24th, and August 8th and 21st and feature live music, cocktails, bites and more. Each pop-up gallery event will showcase new artists and will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Shops Around Lenox’s Pop-Gallery is free to attend and ages are welcome.
For the first pop-up gallery on June 12th, attendees will be treated to works from seven dynamic Georgia artists. Eanaj Janae, who recently relocated to Georgia, creates beautiful and colorful art that cultivates and normalizes body positivity and awareness to colorism, while K. Ross, an established abstract fine artist, gains new inspiration from the rich southern culture and hospitality of Georgia. Abstract painter Melissa Ewing focuses on fluid art with an emphasis on bold colors and abstract patterns inspired by water, sunsets and flowers. Artist R.D. Simmons creates mixed medium art pieces inspired by nature, impactful events , and common human experiences and emotions. Creating beauty and joy through color and texture, Rhonda Coleman’s layers paint, paper, and fabric to evoke depth and interest. Reflecting how she sees the world, Sara B. Yoder’s work is colorful, exciting and a bit childlike. Finally, with a theme of passion, power and perpetuity, Shellton LaBron’s surrealist and conceptual works of art are bold and energetic. Music festivals are back for Atlanta with Lost Art Music Festival Presented by Cathead Distillery on June 11-12, 2021. As we emerge from the pandemic, the area’s first music festival of 2021 with nationally-touring artists takes place at the spacious Foxhall Resort in Douglasville, just 30 minutes from downtown Atlanta.
Lost Art celebrates the Americana fan community through high energy performances and immersive experiences in a spacious, outdoor setting.
St. Paul & The Broken Bones, Shovels & Rope, The War And Treaty, Ben Nichols of Lucero, and The Pink Stones round out the eclectic and diverse lineup of Americana acts, which blend elements of Southern soul, folk, alt-country, cosmic country, and more.
Aaron Lee Tasjan performs a Friday night kickoff show on June 11. Late night Saturday, The Sundogs Present The Tom Petty Show. Tasjan and The Sundogs shows are available as separate, standalone tickets.

Atlanta Dairies today announces, in partnership with CORE (Community Organized Relief Effort) and Three Taverns Brewery, it will host three days of walk-up mobile vaccination clinics which will be open to the public, ages 12+. The walk-up clinics will be held on three Saturdays over the coming months, beginning this Saturday, May 29, and aim to increase vaccine availability to communities impacted by the global pandemic. The walk-up vaccination clinic will be housed in the vacant space next to Three Taverns Imaginarium, near the stairwell.
VACCINE:
CORE is currently administering the 2-dose Pfizer vaccines in partnership with Fulton County, Fulton County Board of Health, and Curogram within Fulton County. The vaccine is available for everyone ages 12+. First and second doses will be available through CORE. Patients must receive the same Pfizer vaccine for both doses, and before leaving first dose appointments will schedule second dose appointments. The second dose must be administered no sooner than three weeks after the first dose.
COST:
The vaccine is free. Identification and insurance information upon registration is encouraged.
REGISTRATION:
Pre-registration is required and can be completed ahead of time online or on-site. Plan to arrive at the vaccine site 15 minutes before appointments. Signed consent forms are required for anyone wishing to receive a vaccine, regardless of age. Minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a guardian to co-sign a consent form.

Brewery’s 16-Day Annual Celebration Returns for Fourth Year This September

Fourth Annual Tucktoberfest™: Tucker Brewing Company, a brewery located in Tucker, Ga., will host its fourth annual Tucktoberfest™ celebration where guests can enjoy German traditions mixed with Southern hospitality. During this European takeover, the beloved brewery and beer garden, recently named one of USA TODAY’s 10Best Beer Gardens in America, will be decked out in all things Oktoberfest, from authentic German attire for the staff to steins replacing all barware. Guests can expect to enjoy activities such as a classic stein holding competition, a wiener toss, cornhole, and more, along with live music.
Guests can enjoy authentic German fare from Executive Chef Nicole Fey and German-inspired brews, including the famous Tucktoberfest™ Märzen Lager from Head Brewmaster Tucker Eagleson.
