Celebrating the Spookiest Time of Year With a Month of Frights, Delights, Monster Halloween Bash and Two Costume Contests

The countdown to Halloween is on at Amore e Amore in Inman Park. Throughout the month of October, guests will be treated to a monthlong Halloween-themed pop-up, a Nightmare on Highland, filled with ghostly decor, chilling delights, and wickedly delicious Italian cuisine curated by Professor Giovanni, specialty cocktails and much more. The grand finale? Not one, but two high-energy Halloween parties, complete with costume contests and plenty of bone-chilling surprises, on Saturday, October 28, 2023. 


Beginning at 4:30 p.m., and with additional seatings at 4:45 p.m. and 5 p.m., on Saturday, October 28th, Mama Gale and the team at Amore e Amore are kicking off the Halloween festivities with three family-friendly seatings. Kids 12 and under can compete for hair-raising prizes in a family-friendly costume competition while feasting on a spooktacular kids menu featuring pizza bites, meatballs, and child-sized portion of fan favorite entrees such as cheese ravioli, fettuccine alfredo, spaghetti and meatballs and more is available for $20. As moonlight creeps into the sky, revelers ages 21 and over are invited to an adults-only dinner where they can indulge in a four-course pre-fixe menu for $100 per person plus alcohol, tax and gratuity. With seatings at 8 p.m., 8:15 p.m., and 8:30 p.m., guests can sip on chilling cocktails like the Witch’s Brew and Vampire Kiss, as costumed connoisseurs compete for prizes and bragging rights in a spirited costume contest.

 The Blind Pig Parlour Bar lures guests to eat, drink and be scary at its newest pop-up experience—The Wicked Pig. Starting Friday, Sept. 29, the Buckhead speakeasy is transforming into a hauntingly fun destination boasting spine-tingling décor, and a mesmerizing vibe. Guests can sip on a variety of creative Halloween-themed cocktails and sink their teeth into light bites inspired by the spooky season.

Among the spooky sippers and shots served in syringes are:

  • Rosemary’s Baby – jalapeño-infused El Jimador, blackberry-rosemary syrup, lemon, and Cointreau
  • Pumpkin spice espresso martini – coffee liqueur, cold brew, and orange topped with chai foam

Summer Roadshow Dinner Series Makes Final Stop of Season with German Food & Wine Pairing

The Wurst Beer Hallis collaborating with Poncey-Highland wine and spirits shop Elemental Spirits Co. Thursday, Sept. 28 for the final #HungryandCurious Summer Roadshow dinner of the season.

This special Oktoberfest dinner will be held on the restaurant’s communal outdoor patio, where guests can mingle under twinkling lights and sample three courses featuring platters of sausages, Patak bacon, pork shank, sauerkraut, spaetzle, pretzels, and more alongside four carefully curated German wine pairings.

Atlanta Eateries Scare Up Spine-Tingling Halloween Events and Offerings

It’s officially Halloween season, and some of Atlanta’s favorite restaurants are taking on the holiday with numerous ways to eat, drink, and be scary. From rooftop fun at Virtue to Halloween candy and wine pairings at Postino WineCafé, revelers can get spooked in the most satisfying ways.

The annual HOBNOB Neighborhood Tavern Halloween party is on Saturday, Oct. 28 at both the Halcyon and Atlantic Station locations. The party kicks off at 7 p.m., and guests can expect $5 spooky shots, DJ tunes starting at 8 p.m. and a hair-raising costume contest at 10 p.m. with a $100 gift card prize for the winner. Those looking to get the festivities started sooner can join HOBNOB’s Halcyon location for Halcyon’s “Witches Night Out” event on Oct. 19 from 6-10 p.m. with DJ music on the rooftop.

Postino WineCafé—with locations in Buckhead and West Midtown—invites guests to embrace the flavors of the season with suggestions for whimsical wine and candy pairings. Curated by Postino’s vice president of beverage and seasoned sommelier Brent Karlicek, guests are encouraged to try four spine-chilling pairing suggestions: Hi-Rise + Skittles, Fiore Moscato D’Asti + Starburst, Holly’s Way + Caramel Apple Pops, and Mary Taylor’s + Twizzlers.

The Blind Pig Parlour Bar presents The Wicked Pig, a Halloween pop-up through Nov. 4. Patrons can expect spooktacular drinks like Rosemary’s Baby and Vampire’s Kiss as well as scary bites like CharCUTerie if you dare and mummy dogs.The Wicked Pig is open Wednesday-Saturday from 5 p.m. until late now through Nov. 4. What’s better than having a Halloween party? A Halloween party on a rooftop! Virtue Rooftop, atop 5Church Midtown, is having a wicked Halloween Rooftop party on Oct. 28 from 9 p.m.-2 a.m. Virtue Rooftop has all vibes covered with its three distinct spaces, which include the ballroom, covered patio, and exposed rooftop. Guests are required to wear a costume that adheres to health code standards (no nudity or lewd costumes allowed) and will be greeted with a complimentary welcome glass of Champagne. ENZO Steakhouse & Bar Hosts a Spooktacular Halloween Party and Pumpkin Carving Competition

Ghouls, goblins, witches and wizards of all ages are invited to an afternoon of frights, delights and friendly competition during ENZO Steakhouse & Bar’s Spooktacular Halloween Party & Pumpkin Carving Contest.
