The Atlanta Food & Wine Festival (AF&WF) returns for its 11th year from Thursday, September 15, through Sunday, September 18, with various programming throughout Atlanta and tickets will officially go on sale to the public Thursday, June 23 – with a limited amount of tickets available with early bird pricing through Thursday, June 30. A celebration of Southern culinary culture, attendees can prepare to revel in creations from an array of the finest chefs the South has to offer – from Texas through Georgia, and all the way to D.C. – with proceeds benefiting Children of Conservation’s school lunch program, providing nutrient-dense meals for children in Africa.

From June 23 to June 30 (or until allotments sell out), early bird tickets for the signature tasting tents start at $85 for general admission per day – including unlimited food, wine & cocktails, alongside live chef demos presented by Publix & interactive experiences – and $125 for VIP, which offers priority access to the tents. After June 30, prices will increase to $99 for general admission and $150 for VIP. Tickets for a curated selection of intimate brunches, dinners, master classes and personalized chef experiences & collaborations will be available “a-la-carte,” including those for two new signature events, coming to Midtown’s latest events destination, Guardian Works:

Sliced: AF&WF’s Party by The Slice – Thursday, September 15, from 7 to 10 p.m.

Sweet, savory & everything in between, because we all know the filling is the best part – introducing Sliced: the first-ever party by the slice at AF&WF! Enjoy nearly every creation served by the slice you can think of – from pizza, pie and quiche to brisket, bread and good ole chicken pot pie, there’s something for everyone to enjoy by the slice. Tickets include unlimited bites, sips & entertainment for $110 through June 30, increasing to $125 on July 1.

Cluck’d: A Chicken & Cocktail Soirée – Friday, September 16, from 7 to 10 p.m.

Dig into some classic yet out-of-the-box poultry dishes from some of the best chefs east of the Mason Dixon. Tickets include unlimited dishes, sips & entertainment for $110 through June 30, increasing to $125 on July 1.

All grandstand ticketholders will have pre-race stage access for the concert and Xfinity Series driver introductions on a first-come, first-served basis. Finally, after the race in the Peach Pit on Saturday, July 9, hometown favorites Blackberry Smoke will keep things rocking in the free world. Additionally, a collection of genre-fluid musical acts will support the performances throughout the three-day festival.
“With all kinds of music to enjoy from rock to country off the track and two thrilling races on it, there’s never been a better time to experience NASCAR in Atlanta,” said AMS Executive Vice President and General Manager Brandon Hutchison.
The massive music festival will complement the slate of on-track action during Atlanta Motor Speedway’s summer NASCAR weekend. First, the rising stars of the NASCAR Xfinity Series hit the high banks on Saturday, July 9, for the Alsco Uniforms 250. Then on Sunday, July 10, NASCAR Cup Series stars like Chase Elliott, Ryan Blaney, and Kevin Harvick race for glory in the Quaker State 400 Presented by Walmart.

WILDWOOD REVIVAL 2022

Posted by Liz and John Attaway, 6/8/22

September 30 – October 2 at Cloverleaf Farm

The countdown to Wildwood Revival 2022 is on!  Wildwood’s unique combination of an idyllic southern countryside, amazing new music, local food vendors and artists, and a VIP-like experience for attendees make it one of the most unique music events of the year.

Wildwood Revival 2022 is September 30 – October 2 at Cloverleaf Farm, about 12 miles southeast of Athens. This year’s lineup celebrates Athens’ storied music scene and includes:

Black Pumas
Jenny Lewis
The Wood Brothers
John Moreland
Suzanne Santo
Elizabeth Cook
The Heavy Heavy
Bones of J.R. Jones
Early James
Packway Handle Band
Zach Person
Leon III
J.P. Harris

“The 2022 lineup reflects our passion for live music and discovering new music,” said Libby Rose, Wildwood Festival co-founder. “From Americana to Rock n’ Roll, Soul to Bluegrass, Roots music to alternative Country, this slate of artists represents the diversity of the music scene in Athens and across Georgia.”

“At Wildwood, everything is about the experience!” Rose added. “From the stage nestled in a 100-year-old pecan grove to morning yoga and late night jam sessions around a campfire, Wildwood is for people who want to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city, connect with old friends and make new ones, and enjoy amazing music and artists. It’s a revival of the soul.”

Wildwood Revival also features food from local farmers and local vendors and an artisan market with vintage clothing, antiques, handmade crafts, printmakers and more. Sponsors reflect a select group that, like Wildwood Revival, seeks to deliver a top-quality experience, including YETI, Creature Comforts Brewing Company, Wild Basin Hard Seltzer, Four Roses Bourbon, Cathead Vodka, and In Blue Handmade.

“People who come to Wildwood experience all this plus amazing music and camaraderie,” said
Rose. “We limit the number of tickets. Our goal is to do all we can to ensure every guest at Wildwood Revival feels like they are getting VIP treatment.”
