Wine Fest ATL 2017

About: On Saturday, August 26th is Wine Connoisseur Magazine’s Wine Fest Atlanta at Mason Fine Art Gallery with two sessions, one from 12 pm to 4 pm and the second from 5 pm to 8 pm. Sample premium varietals from some of the best Georgia wineries, all while music performers and other secret performers keep the party lively during this all-day, all-night wine experience. Session one is currently sold out, but you can choose from either General Admission or VIP from session two. General Admission is $32.50 plus fees, while VIP is $60 plus fees.

Grant Park Summer Shade Festival 2017

About: Raising approximately 87 thousand dollars for the Grant Park Conservancy at the 2016 event, the Grant Park Summer Shade Festival will once again welcome music and art lovers to Atlanta’s oldest park for two days of nonstop fun on Saturday, August 26 and Sunday, August 27, 2017. Presented by and benefiting the Grant Park Conservancy, the festival will once again feature an impressive lineup of live music throughout the weekend on two stages in addition to an expansive artist market, Kids Zone, 5K run, and a dedicated VIP area. Open to all ages and free to attend, the 15th annual Summer Shade Festival will also have a diverse selection of local food trucks with offerings for all tastes, Monday Night Brewing craft beer, Bold Rock Cider, and Frida Khalo Tequila and Status Vodka cocktails and more. 25th Annual Jeffery Fashion Cares

About: Arbiter of style, Jeffrey Kalinsky, creator of two namesake boutiques in Atlanta and Manhattan, joins Event Chairs Lila Hertz, Jeffrey McQuithy and Louise Sams in producing the official kick-off to the fall social season:  Jeffrey Fashion Cares 2017.  To be held at Phipps Plaza in the heart of Buckhead on Monday, August 28, 2017 at 7 p.m. —the event will be celebrating its 25th anniversary and includes a reception followed by a live auction and runway show featuring Kalinsky’s style selections from high-end designers such as Gucci, Celine, Christian Dior, Givenchy, Valentino, Dries van Noten, Saint Laurent Paris, Balenciaga, Christian Louboutin and Manolo Blahnik. The 25th anniversary of Jeffrey Fashion Cares will benefit Susan G. Komen Greater Atlanta, the Atlanta AIDS Fund (AAF), and the Medical University of South Carolina.  Last year’s sold-out event raised nearly $700,000 for the organizations, and in its history, Fashion Cares has grown into one of the largest combined AIDS and breast cancer benefits in the country. For the 2017 philanthropic affair, guests are invited to mix, mingle and enjoy an unforgettably stylish evening in a completely transformed and private environment in the Monarch Court at the recently renovated Phipps Plaza.
