CASTLEBERRY HILL LOFT TOUR RETURNS THIS SATURDAY

Atlanta, GA (October 6, 2015) – The Castleberry Hill Neighborhood Association’s (CHNA) Castleberry Hill Loft Tour will make its grand return this Saturday, October 10, 2015 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. throughout the historic Atlanta neighborhood located just seconds from the CNN Center and Centennial Olympic Park in Downtown Atlanta. After a brief hiatus, the Loft Tour will welcome attendees to the Landmark District to explore hand-selected lofts and the neighborhood’s distinctive art galleries, boutiques, restaurants, and businesses. Proceeds from the Loft Tour go towards aesthetic improvements to the historic neighborhood. Tour-goers will also get to view street sign toppers, the signature Castleberry Hill metalwork neighborhood sign, new trash cans, newly planted trees, neighborhood banners and more – all of which are a result of funds raised during past Loft Tours. The 2015 Castleberry Hill Loft Tour will showcase the following lofts:
Castleberry Hill, conveniently located between CNN Center and Atlanta’s West End, prides itself as being a prominent artistic community, housing several fine art galleries, as well as being home to a number of artists, photographers, writers and musicians. Tour-goers are also encouraged to visit Castleberry Hill’s diverse range of art galleries including Besharat Gallery, Big House Gallery, Blu Bisque, Escape Gallery, Marcia Wood Gallery, MASS collective and many more. Additionally, numerous neighborhood businesses will be open during the Loft Tour. Favorite haunts like Adios Cafe, Bottle Rocket, Elliott Street Deli & Pub, No Mas Cantina, Paschal’s Restaurant, Smoke Ring, and Super 7 Pizza Shoppe are ideal for grabbing bites, beverages, and chatting with the locals. Numerous retail spots including Atlanta Movie Tours, No Mas Hacienda, Peters Street Market, Wine Shoe and more will be open for browsing and shopping.

2015 Castleberry Hill Loft Tour

Each tour-goer is provided with a wristband, event brochure and map of the featured lofts and business that are participating in the event. The Loft Tour is self-guided and features plenty of assistance from the Atlanta Ambassador Force that is on hand to assist tour-goers needs, with directions and to help answer any questions. Tour-goers are free to enter each select loft, gallery, business and restaurant as they please. Each one of the eight lofts on the tour will have a volunteer knowledgeable of the space and capable to answer any loft related questions attendees may have.

Roswell Wine Festival

About: On Sunday, October 4th from 2pm to 5pm the 3rd annual Roswell Wine Festival comes to Canton Street and Roswell square! Take a stroll down historic Roswell square, while sampling and sipping wines through favorite restaurants. Ticket holders will get a commemorative glass and and sample wine from participating restaurants, while all proceeds go to building a dog park at Roswell Area Park. Tickets are $40 for general admission (just found out, it’s sold out) and $70 for VIP.
