Legendary live music venue, the Masquerade, long a fixture on the Atlanta musical landscape and destination point on the national touring scene, marks it’s 25th Anniversary of presenting the finest in new, cutting edge live entertainment by debuting an annual weekend celebration of music they love by artists they admire. For the inaugural 2015 installment of the Wrecking Ball, they give you 60 bands on 4 stages over a period of two days- August 8th and 9th. Heaven, Hell, Purgatory and the outdoor Masquerade Music Park will each host a full slate of artists both days.Stylistically, Rock, Punk Rock, Hardcore, Post-Hardcore, Emo, and all of the flavors (c/o The Masquerade site) Tickets are $65 a day and $110 for a 2-day pass.

The Joy Formidable Closes Out Weekly Live Music Series, Which Also Includes
Atlanta, Georgia – Sunset Sessions has announced The Joy Formidable as the finale headliner for the new, weekly alternative music series at Park Tavern in Piedmont Park. Coming off of two well received studio albums- 2011’s The Big Roar and 2013’s Wolf’s Law, the Welsh trio will be using its hook laded guitar-pop to help close out Atlanta’s most successful free concert series to date. Beginning with Bad Suns this past April, Radio 105.7 and Park Tavern have presented Atlantans and visitors alike with an incredible lineup of live music from some of today’s most buzz-worthy artists each Sunday. Sunset Sessions is held under the spacious, air conditioned Garden Tent, which boasts Piedmont Park and the Midtown Skyline as its backdrop. The free concert series, booked by The Bowery Presents South, will run through Sunday, September 6, 2015; every show is from 7 to 11 p.m. and guests must be 21+ older to attend.
