Atlanta, Georgia (May 28, 2015) – Dad’s Garage and Friends, an all-star comedy extravaganza coming to the Fox Theatre on June 13, 2015, has announced the lineup for its second annual event. Featuring a series of improv games, skits, animated pieces and an improv jam to end all jams, the all-star lineup includes sidesplitting, well known acts: Collin Mochrie (“Who’s Line Is It Anyway” / “The Drew Carey Show”); Gary Anthony Williams (“The Boondocks”); Fred Willard (This Is Spinal Tap / “Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy); Amber Nash (“Archer”); Mark Meer (Mass Effect); Lucky Yates (“Archer” / “Frisky Dingo”); Cedric Yarbrough (“Reno 911”); Mats Eldøen; Too Many Cooks – reworked as a musical; Strongbox (“Homestar Runner”); the Atlanta Opera; Cellolitis; danceDanceDANCE, Meatwad (“Aqua Teen Hunger Force”) and more. Continuing its mission of escalating the theatre experience into almost unbearably titillating levels, Dad’s Garage Theatre Company will be be previewing the main performance with a series of personalized warm up shows at 7 Stages Theatre for comedic fans who may not be able to handle enormity of it all.

“With year one we weren’t sure what to expect, but after selling out The Goat Farm with two amazing shows, we knew we were onto something special,” says Dad’s Garage Theatre Artistic Director, Kevin Gillese. “The energy is so electric, everyone in the room knows that they’re a part of something big- nights like this don’t come around very often.”

Broken into two distinct performances, the first half of Dad’s Garage and Friends at the Fox Theatre will be a series of improvisational games, made possible by the collective genius of Mochrie, Williams, Yarbrough and Willard. Due to the very nature of improv, one can only speculate as to what the games will entail, but we do know that these special guests will be teamed up with the likes of The Atlanta Opera and danceDanceDANCE! to spin up some comedy gold. Rounding out the first half of the evening will be one-off bits, including: “Too Many Cooks- the Musical”, an animated piece by “Homestar Runner”, a performance from Berlin’s own Cellolitis and some special guests yet to be announced. After a brief intermission, when attendees taken in all the free air conditioning and over-priced beer they can consume, Dad’s Garage and Friends’ star-studded guests will toss aside egos and come together for an improv jam to end all jams.

General Admission tickets will start at $25, before fees and taxes. Tickets will be available at the door, but are subject to availability. About Dad’s Garage Theatre Company:
Founded in 1995, Dad’s Garage Theatre Company has grown from a small volunteer led organization to a thriving mid-size theatre led by professional artistic and administrative staff that includes over 300 volunteers and performers. In 2013, Dad’s Garage which had entertained more than 30,000 people at their two-theatre facility in Inman Park, was forced to look for a new home as a result of development in the area. Temporarily staying at neighboring 7 Stages Theatre in Little Five Points, the Theatre continues to produce its own productions in addition to public events across Atlanta and the state, and at improv festivals across the continent. Dad’s Garage purchased a new home in the Old Fourth Ward and looks forward to beginning performances there in 2016.  For more information, visit Dad’s Garage Theatre Company online at dadsgarage.com.
