Atlanta, Georgia – On Saturday, October 13th, City Winery is partnering with Down Home Brewing for an afternoon of fun on the urban winery’s expansive outdoor patio to celebrate the one-year anniversary of the brewery. While the Atlanta leaves are falling, craft beers lovers can enjoy frosty brews from Atlanta’s first African-American-owned brewing company, Down Home Brewing. Brewmaster and Founder Chris Reeves will be on site pouring glasses of his handcrafted Georgia Hooch IPA (6.8% ABV) and T-Pom Pomegranate Wheat Ale (6.3% ABV). Executive Chef Nick Anderson will also be firing up the Big Green Egg serving his spin on Southern classics like Barbecue Brisket Sandwiches, Beer Can Chicken, Potato Salad, House-made coleslaw and potato chips. The party, along with a live music performance, kicks off at 12 p.m. and tickets are $30, plus applicable fees and are available for purchase here or at www.citywinery.com/atlanta.
