RAD Studio Cruise

Date: Saturday, March 19th
Time: 11am

About: On Saturday, March 19th, The Rail Arts District is celebrating our 9th Annual Studio Cruise featuring artists, galleries, and studios including Atlanta Hot Glass, Garage Door Studio, Little Tree Art Studios, MudFire Clayworks and Gallery, and Paper Trail Art Center. Celebrate our growing arts community by visiting during our open house – and cruise in style on the free trolleys. Have you ever wanted to throw a pot, blow some glass, learn to paint, make paper, or have a nagging need to sew? Our studios are the place you want to be. The Rail Arts District encompasses creative art making spaces, private studios and local businesses making goods locally. From soap to beer and back to bacon, our local shops offer an enticing menu from local craftspeople. Studios will be open and featuring live demonstrations, tours, and art by local and nationally featured artists. Trolleys will run from stop to stop from 11am until 7:00pm. Park and ride! A detailed map will be provided to show you where to park, where the stops are, and where to find food. The festivities will wrap up with Tribute: A Celebration of the Allman Brothers Band which will play when the  RAD Studio Cruise ends – join us at the theater at 8pm – Admission is $10.
