On Friday, Jan. 29th at 7pm, join The Farmer Fund and Souper Jenny Westside (1082 Huff Road NW) for a screening of “Big Night,” the story of two brothers trying to save their family’s Italian restaurant, and an authentic Italian meal. Priced at $75 per person, tickets include food and beverage and may be purchased here. All proceeds benefit The Farmer Fund.

ABOUT THE FARMER FUND
An Atlanta nonprofit founded last year to serve Metro Atlanta farmers in the face of natural disaster, such as flooding or tornados. They help local farmers get back on their feet by providing grants through donations and fundraising. Darla Synnestvedt (Director of Catering and Events at Farm Burger) and Lauren Carey (Executive Director of Peachtree Road Farmers Market) founded the nonprofit to serve the farmers that feed Atlanta’s families. The group hosted a successful launch party in August 2015, raising over $30,000 to help local farmers get back on their feet after sudden natural disasters. The event also showcased their first fundraiser: a newly revealed 2016 calendar featuring photos of Atlanta’s chefs in nothing but aprons with the farmers who grow their food.
