Midtown Hotspot Pulls out the Stops with Special Prix Fixe Menu and Rooftop Party

Thursday, June 20th

Ayman Kamel believes birthdays are meant to be celebrated in style. That’s why the owner of 5Church Atlanta and his team are raising the roof to celebrate the popular Midtown restaurant’s third anniversary on Thursday, June 20. Guests can get the party started with a sumptuous four-course prix fixe menu in the dining room and then continue the festivities with a high-energy party on the restaurant’s rooftop patio.

“We are incredibly thankful to Atlanta for the opportunity to serve them and be a part of this vibrant Midtown neighborhood over the last three years,” says Kamal. “We look forward to continuing as an active partner of the community and delivering enticing new menus and exciting events for our guests in the years to come.”

5Church kicks off the evening with a fabulous four-course prix fixe dinner in the dining room where hearty appetites will get a glimpse of the restaurant’s fun, new summer menu. Served from 5-10 p.m., the menu features diver scallops with ramps, risotto, vanilla carrots and leeks or pork tenderloin with cabbage, turnips and apple.  Event sponsors Ketel One and Maker’s Mark will keep the drinks flowing. Upon arrival, guests will enjoy welcome cocktails including an Egress cocktail of Ketel One vodka, simple syrup, lemon juice, strawberries and basil or Holy Water with Maker’s Mark, sweet tea, lemon juice, blackberries, mint and blue agave, and a Champagne tower. The cost is $75 per person (plus tax and gratuity) and includes dinner, welcome cocktails and entertainment from an aerial bartender in a martini glass pouring drinks above the dining room. While walk-in guests are welcome, reservations are strongly encouraged via 5churchatlanta.com. 5Church’s a la carte menu will not be served this evening.

The celebration continues on one of Atlanta’s best rooftops overlooking bustling Peachtree Street in Midtown. The 6 p.m.-midnight festivities boast house music from 6-8 p.m., cocktail specials from upstairs bar sponsors Ketel One and Maker’s Mark and a photo booth to capture the evening. DJ Kinetic spins the hits starting at 8 p.m., and guests looking to finish out the evening with a good cigar can visit the cigar rolling station.
