INDIE CRAFT SPRING EXPERIENCE ANNOUNCES NEW LOCATION AT THE GOAT FARM AND A BOLD NEW VISION

The Indie Craft Spring Experience returns May 2-3, 2026 with an exciting new location at Goat Farm, ushering in a new era for Atlanta’s longest-running handmade market. Now produced by Tiny Rhino Productions, the beloved event expands its vision – intentionally bridging the space between indie makers and contemporary craft while preserving the bold, funky energy that has defined the markets since 2005.

This spring, artists from seven states across the Southeast will gather in Atlanta, showcasing a dynamic cross-section of regional talent. The event continues to serve as a trusted destination for discovering Southern independent makers, while elevating its curatorial lens to spotlight work that merges DIY ethos with refined craftsmanship and modern design.

Set within the industrial, art-forward environment of Goat Farm, the Spring Experience will feature a thoughtfully curated lineup of artists and designers showcasing concept-driven handmade work, elevated material exploration, collectible small-batch design, and personality-rich brands that sit comfortably alongside refined minimal aesthetics.

“For the last 20 years, Indie Craft Experience has celebrated accessible, handmade culture,” says Katrine Trantham, owner of Tiny Rhino Productions. “This spring, we’re leaning into the exciting middle ground – where independent makers are pushing into contemporary craft conversations. And just as importantly, we’re still embracing the playful energy and quirkiness that people know and love us for. Shoppers can expect to find many of their longtime local favorites while also discovering an exciting wave of new talent from across the Southeast.”

The result is a market experience that will resonate with longtime Indie Craft Experience supporters, as well as serious collectors, design enthusiasts, and shoppers seeking both statement pieces and timeless staples.

Strengthening Atlanta’s Handmade Ecosystem

Beyond the market weekend, organizers are reinforcing their commitment to Atlanta’s year-round creative economy. In conjunction with the Spring Experience, Tiny Rhino is sharing a newly compiled guide to Handmade in Atlanta — spotlighting independent retailers and creative spaces that champion local artists and small-batch design.

This initiative reflects Tiny Rhino Productions’ broader mission: not only producing thoughtfully curated events, but cultivating a sustainable infrastructure for independent craft throughout the Southeast.

Sandy Springs Artsapalooza returns on Saturday, March 30, and Easter Sunday, March 31, 2024. The award-winning, free festival features more than 150 painters, photographers, sculptors, leather and metal craft makers, glass blowers, jewelers and more. Transforming the tree-lined streets of Sandy Springs into an expansive outdoor art gallery, festival-goers will have the opportunity to view artist demonstrations, participate in hands-on art activities, and enjoy music. The event also has an expansive children’s area and plenty of food trucks and beverages for all tastes. At 2 p.m. on Easter Sunday, the festival is once again hosting the largest Easter Egg Hunt in Sandy Springs with over 10,000 hidden Easter eggs. Kids are asked to arrive early with a small bag or basket. The festival is free to attend, open to all ages, and dogs are welcome. FALL FESTIVAL ON PONCE RETURNS TO OLMSTED LINEAR PARK THIS WEEKEND

Two-Day Arts Festival Featuring 125 Displays of Local and Regional Artists, Children’s Area, Live Music and More!

Presented by the Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces, the Fall Festival on Ponce is returning to Olmsted Linear Park this Saturday, October 7 and Sunday, October 8, 2023. The two-day festival will feature 125 displays of local and regional fine art and crafts along with folk and outsider art. ART FOR A GOOD PAWS 2023

On Sunday, July 16th, art and animal lovers are invited to view and purchase works from new and seasoned artists, watch live canvas painting, explore Distillery of Modern Art’s signature and new summer cocktails, nosh on snack and more. A portion of proceeds from the art sales will benefit Planned PEThood of Georgia, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping pets and the people who care for them by providing innovative programs and affordable services. Art for a Good Paws is free to attend and all ages are welcome. ART POP-UP SHOP IN TOWN BROOKHAVEN

srmART CONNECT and Explore Brookhaven are pleased to present the second annual Art Pop Up + Shop in Town Brookhaven, a temporary gallery of paintings, mixed media, photography, limited series prints, ceramics, jewelry and more by 30 Atlanta-area artists.  The free exhibition opens April 27 and continues until May 21, 2023, with a special opening reception Friday, April 28, 6PM – 8PM.  

Art advocate and consultant, Sharon Moskowitz of srmART CONNECT looks forward to another successful exhibit. “An art pop-up shop is a great way to network with neighbors and local businesses,” says Moskowitz. “There is incredible value in connecting and interacting with the community in-person, talking about the artwork, and generating sales and future art projects. The economic impact and ‘happy factor’ go hand in hand.” 

Our Brookhaven featured artist is Lauren Loden, artist and encaustic painter, whose work reflects fluid seasons of wonder, loss, rebirth, and letting go. Other Brookhaven artists include Steve Shaw, Len Brown, Bryan Dyker Brown, and Sally W Eppstein.  

The Pop Up will be in a currently available retail space within Town Brookhaven, located on Peachtree Road in the heart of Brookhaven. Art lovers and visitors alike are invited to enjoy this temporary gallery and take home a piece of local art.  

The Art Pop Up + Shop will donate a percentage of proceeds to the Buford Highway Orchestra Project, We Love Buford Highway’s first direct service program that connects music around the educational and social needs of Buford Highway’s youth. Last year’s gallery fulfilled a monetary goal for the Cross Keys Foundation’s Humanities Scholarship Fund.
