22ND ANNUAL SUMMER SHADE FESTIVAL RETURNS THIS AUGUST

Free, Family-Friendly Festival in Historic Grant Park Featuring Live Music, an Artist Market, Kids Bouncy House Village, Food Trucks and Much More

Saturday, August 24 and Sunday, August 25, 2024

For over two decades, the Grant Park Conservancy Summer Shade Festival has welcomed music, art, and event enthusiasts to close out summer during two fun-filled days celebrating Atlanta’s oldest park. The 22nd annual Summer Shade Festival will take place on Saturday, August 24, beginning at 10 a.m., and Sunday, August 25, beginning at 10 a.m. Open to all ages and free to attend, this two-day, fun-filled festival will once again feature an impressive lineup of live music throughout the weekend, in addition to an expansive artist market. With two days of family-friendly activities, Kids Bouncy House Village, 5K run, and delicious bites from local food trucks and vendors, there is no better way to end the summer.

On Saturday morning at 8 am, runners, walkers and strollers are invited to kick off the festival at the annual Adams Realtors Run for the Park 5K. Raising funds to support the Grant Park Conservancy, the race starts and finishes at the main entrance of Zoo Atlanta. Pre-registration is now open here. The festival is produced by and benefits the Grant Park Conservancy, the non-profit organization committed to the restoration, maintenance, and beautification of historic Grant Park. Two-Day Arts Festival Featuring 125 Displays of Local and Regional Artists, Children’s Area, Live Music and More!

Presented by the Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces, the Fall Festival on Ponce is returning to Olmsted Linear Park this Saturday, October 7 and Sunday, October 8, 2023. The two-day festival will feature 125 displays of local and regional fine art and crafts along with folk and outsider art. Recognized as one of the best outdoor festivals in Atlanta, the Piedmont Park Arts Festival returns to the heart of Midtown on Saturday, August 19 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, August 20, 2023, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Presented by the Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces and held in picturesque Piedmont Park, the festival will feature approximately 250 artists including painters, photographers, sculptors, leather and metalworkers, glass blowers, jewelers, and crafters. The Grant Park Conservancy has revealed the live music lineup and schedule for the 17th annual Grant Park Summer Shade Festival on Saturday, August 24 and Sunday, August 25, 2019. Earning a reputation as a must-attend event to see some of the hottest up-and-coming bands, local talent and notable favorites, festival goers are invited to watch two days of nonstop high-energy performances. Featuring a diverse lineup for all tastes, 2019 artists include Blair Crimmins, Stripped, Cicada Rhythm, Common Ground, Old Ceremony, Mafia do Samba, ASH, R.A.H and many more.


Produced by and benefiting the Grant Park Conservancy, the 2019 Grant Park Summer Shade Festival is open to all ages and free to attend. In addition to the impressive music lineup, this year’s festival will also have an expansive artist market, a Kids Zone presented by Grant Park Parents Network, the annual Adams Realtors Run for the Park 5K, a diverse selection of local food trucks, wine, frosty beers, craft cocktails and more. Additionally, tickets are now available for the exclusive VIP Lounge. Attendees are invited to relax in a private tent and enjoy complimentary food from a local caterer, premium wines, Monday Night Brewing craft beer, and the Signature Summer Shade Cocktail served in a souvenir cup. An annual tradition, the Grant Park Summer Shade Festival will welcome music and art lovers to Atlanta’s oldest park for its 17th year on Saturday, August 24 and Sunday, August 25, 2019. Produced by and benefiting the Grant Park Conservancy, the two-day, fun-filled festival will once again feature an impressive lineup of live music throughout the weekend in addition to an expansive artist market, Kids Zone, 5K run, and much more. Open to all ages and free to attend, the 17th annual festival will also have a diverse selection of local food trucks and vendors with offerings for all tastes, cocktails, a beer garden featuring acoustic music and family-friendly games and more.

On Saturday morning at 8 a.m., runners, walkers and strollers are invited to take part in the annual Adams Realtors Run for the Park 5K, which includes a free kid’s tot trot for ages 5 and under and a stroller stroll along the race course. Raising funds to support the Grant Park Conservancy, the course map start and finish will be at the main entrance to Zoo Atlanta. Offering extend hours until 8 p.m. on Saturday, the two-day fine arts festival will feature approximately 100 painters, photographers, sculptors, metalworkers, glass artists, jewelers and more. Festival goers can also soak up the sun and cityscape, while enjoying artist demonstrations and live acoustic music. The dynamic merchants in and surrounding the festival in the Buckhead Village will provide an array of beverage and food offerings. Seventh Annual Old Fourth Ward Arts Festival
Celebrate the seventh annual Old Fourth Ward Arts Festival on Saturday, September 28 and Sunday, September 29, 2019. Presented by the Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces, the two-day festival will once again be held in Historic Fourth Ward Park that is conveniently located along the bustling Atlanta BeltLine Eastside  Trail. Festival goers are invited to explore painting, photography, ceramics, glass, jewelry, woodwork and handcrafted items. The festival also features live music in the amphitheater, local food vendors, drinks, a children’s area, art demonstrations, games, and much more. Eleventh Annual Chastain Park Fall Arts and Crafts Festival   
The eleventh annual Chastain Park Fall Arts Festival presented by The Atlanta Foundation For Public Spaces returns to  Chastain Park in Buckhead on Saturday, November 2 and Sunday,  November 3, 2019. Featuring more than 185 talented painters, photographers, sculptors,  leather and metal craft persons, glass blowers, jewelers and  more, the  festival will transform Chastain Park into an expansive outdoor art gallery. Festival goers are invited to view artist  demonstrations, participate  in hands-on art  activities and enjoy live acoustic performances while taking in breathtaking fall scenery.  The  award-winning, two-day festival will also have a children’s area in the  adjacent green space, gourmet food trucks with healthy alternative,  beverages and more.
