Because family time should come with a soundtrack, Atlanta-based DJ Ash Lauryn is launching Mother May I—a daytime dance party built for parents who still have rhythm and the kids who inherited it. Playtime will take place at Westside Motor Lounge, Atlanta’s go-to for indoor-outdoor energy and offbeat events, Saturday, April 12, from 12 pm to 5 pm. The all-ages event brings backyard energy, curated sounds, and space to move, connect, and vibe as a family.

Chef Arnaldo Castillo Introduces Peruvian Street Food Pop-Up Just in Time for Spring  

Launch Party on Tio Lucho’s Patio, Monday April 7th at 6:30 p.m. 

Say hello to Hermanita—the fiery little sister of Tio Lucho’s and the latest concept from James Beard-nominated Chef Arnaldo Castillo. Launching Monday, April 7 at 6:30 p.m. and returning every other Monday to Tio Lucho’s patio, this street-side pop-up serves up Peruvian-inspired fare with a Southern twist, blending Castillo’s heritage and upbringing into one unforgettable, open-air experience.

In the same spirit of Castillo’s original La Chingana pop-up, Hermanita brings the energy of a neighborhood hangout to Poncey-Highland, complete with sidewalk grilling, first-come-first-served patio seating, and a ticket-based ordering system designed for flow. The menu features juicy Pollo a la Brasa, sizzling Anticuchos skewers, and a rotation of seasonal sides that highlight Southern ingredients and local farms. Each dish reflects Castillo’s signature style—well-seasoned, flavor-forward, and balanced with bright, tangy salsas and thoughtful touches pulled from family recipes.

Expect flame-kissed Pollo a la Brasa, served by the quarter, half, or whole bird, paired with aji verde and salsa parrillera. Anticuchos skewers—offered with grilled beef heart, sirloin, or chicken thigh—bring classic Peruvian street fare to the grill. Surprise chef specials and seasonal sides like aji amarillo mac and cheese, herb-griddled potatoes with huancaína, chopped iceberg with chalaca and huacatay ranch, and smashed cucumber salad with chili crisp round out the spread, tying in the fresh, Southern influences found throughout Castillo’s cooking. Of course, Castillo’s signature salsas are available to keep things extra saucy. To round out the experience, Topo Chico will be onsite at launch with refreshing mineral waters, alongside Pisco Punch pouches, bottles of housemade Chicha Morada and more.

Summer Bash Will Feature Fresh Maryland Blue Crabs, a Low Country Boil, EDB Micheladas, Live Music and More

Summer at Wild Heaven is not just for cracking cold beers; it’s also for donning a bib, rolling up your sleeves, and grabbing a mallet to crack apart delicious, freshly steamed Maryland blue crabs as the third annual Crab Trap & Tap returns. On Saturday, July 19, from 1 pm to 4 pm, this lively feast inspired by the time-honored Maryland tradition of gathering around a table covered in newspaper and savoring the succulent, sweet meat of freshly steamed crabs will have everything you’d expect, except for maybe the “Natty Boh.” Guests can enjoy fresh steamed Maryland blue crabs flown in from Harbour House Crabs; they will be treated to a classic Low Country Boil featuring an all-you-can-eat feast of sausage, corn and potatoes, and other fun salty and sweet summer treats—and non-crab lovers, don’t sweat it, the boil does not contain crab. 

For entertainment, groove to the live tunes of Nero Simon & The Sunsetters as they bring their mellow vibes of sunsets, sand, and surf back to the Garden once again. And if those vibes play right and the weather plays nice, Wild Heaven’s backyard games, such as cornhole and ladder golf, will be set up outside on the lawn to keep things active. With community tables for comradery, the garage doors will be open for indoor and outdoor revelry for one giant party. A cash bar will be ready to serve the perfect summer drinks, including the iconic Old Bay rimmed EDB-Micheladas, the regular lineup of Wild Heaven beers, signature cocktails, wine, and select NA options. 

Early Bird General Admission will go on sale Tuesday, April 01 (that’s no foolin’), starting at $80, plus applicable fees. Early Bird VIP, which includes early entry at 12p and NA beverages, starts at $95. Early Bird tickets are limited and will be available through May 01 before prices increase. The return of spring calls for fresh oysters, flowing spritzes, and smooth jazz at ENZO Steakhouse & Bar. The highly anticipated Shuck Yeah! weekly oyster celebration officially launches with a can’t-miss kickoff event on Wednesday, April 2nd at 5 p.m. Offering an evening of flavor and fun on the expansive patio, guests are invited to dive into a curated selection of freshly shucked oysters, wood-fired favorites, and crispy bites, all perfectly paired with seasonal sips and live jazz music. Special offerings include $12 Spritzes, Freshly Shucked Oysters with charred apple mignonette and smoked caviar, Wood Fired Oysters with cowboy butter and lime zest, and Crispy Oysters & Calamari served with Calabrian aioli, zucchini, and lemon. Seafood lovers can dive into the best of the bash with the Signature Shuck features a tasting of each for $32. A glass of Pommery Brut Champagne offers the perfect touch of luxury, available as an indulgent pairing alongside Freshly Shucked Oysters for $34. Zero-proof cocktails, seasonal offerings, and ENZO’s full dinner menu will also be available.
