Featuring a Spring Runway Show, Colorful Floral Workshops, Vibrant Installations, & More 

Buckhead’s flower fête of the season is back at Buckhead Village with the fifth annual Bodacious Blooms Flower Festival, slated to make its lively return Thursday, April 30 through Saturday, May 2. Hosted alongside Livable Buckhead, the festival will once again be headlined by renowned Atlanta-based florist Canaan Marshall with a complementary lineup of can’t-miss signature events, workshops, over-the-top installations, in-store specials, and endless photo-ready moments.

New this year, Buckhead Village will also debut Fashion in Bloom: A Spring Runway Show as a part of the property-wide celebration, showcasing seasonal style in full bloom. The exciting signature event will be hosted by contemporary art gallery, Carousel Fine Art, and will feature Buckhead Village brands and boutiques.

Best known for his electric energy and knack for turning the everyday into elegant, decorated Southern designer Canaan Marshall will celebrate the weekend with an exclusive floral design workshop and meaningful conversations around the art of floral design. As part of the property’s springtime transformation, he is also set to reimagine The Veranda as a vibrant paradise for floral enthusiasts, anchored by a show-stopping live installation.

From Macon to Atlanta and beyond, Marshall is known for his gorgeous tablescapes, over-the-top mantels, and breathtaking bridal bouquets. In addition to his appearance as a contestant on Season 2 of HBO Max’s Full Bloom, his work can be found in the pages of Southern Living, Modern Luxury, Flower Magazine, Traditional Home, and Macon Magazine.

Participating Buckhead Village restaurants and retailers will join in the festivities by offering a range of in-store happenings like floral-themed beverages and treats, special discounts, custom-themed embroidery with purchases, and more experiences in addition to storefront displays and floral installations.

Along with Buckhead Village, neighboring destinations Phipps Plaza and Shops Around Lenox will also participate in the walkable weekend with a line-up of breathtaking floral installations, floral-themed menus & cocktails, hands-on floral workshops, and in-store activations & promotions across all properties. Hosted by contemporary art gallery Carousel Fine Art, Buckhead Village will debut Fashion in Bloom: A Spring Runway Show, a captivating showcase inspired by the beauty, elegance, and vibrancy of florals. The evening will spotlight a curated lineup of retail brands and boutiques at Buckhead Village, including Abbey Glass, Billy Reid, B.M. Franklin, Bonobos, Francis Valentine, Hill House Home, Jenni Kayne, Maeve, Rails, Theory, and Veronica Beard.

Guests are invited to arrive early for a pre-show cocktail hour from 6-7pm before the show starts at 7pm. Fashion In Bloom will take place inside Carousel Fine Art, located on Bolling Way across from Le Bilboquet. Tickets are available here for $25.

Canaan Marshall is returning to Buckhead Village to host a hands-on floral arrangement class in which participants will be guided in designing a breathtaking floral arrangement with Canaan’s signature effortless style.

This floral experience will be an introductory class perfect for anyone who would like to learn to use everyday floral elements to enhance their next tablescape. Hosted by Buckhead Village, the workshop will take place in the weather-protected, open-air pavilion called The Veranda – located at the corner of Bolling Way and Buckhead Avenue, across from Le Bilboquet. Attendees will be provided with florals, a vessel, and all necessary supplies to design a beautiful centerpiece to bring home. 

Tickets are $225 and include a centerpiece floral arrangement ($220 value), an apron & floral shears to use during the workshop, unlimited wine and non-alcoholic refreshments, a delicious boxed lunch, an exclusive gift bag, and a three-hour parking validation (*applicable for Buckhead Village parking decks only, not valet).

To wrap up the weekend, Vuori is partnering with The Daily Pilates to bring their ACTV Studio sessions to Buckhead Village on Sunday, May 3. Led by an instructor from The Daily Pilates, guests are invited to enjoy an outdoor mat pilates class in The Veranda beginning at 10am. Afterwards, all attendees are welcome to indulge in shopping and refreshments inside the Vuori Buckhead Village store from 11am to noon. Those interested can RSVP here – be sure to bring a mat!
