A New Monthly Cocktail Series Featuring Hands-On Mixology, Seasonal Sips, and Small Bites 

Next Class on Tuesday, April 21 at 5:30 p.m. 

Bar Margot is stirring up Atlanta’s cocktail scene with Shaken & Stirred, its stylish monthly mixology series that gives guests a glimpse behind the bar and welcomes them into the art of cocktail culture. The Midtown favorite’s next installment arrives Tuesday, April 21 at 5:30 p.m., with an evening inspired by the Kentucky Derby—just in time for guests to brush up on their julep game ahead of race season.

With Derby attire encouraged, the class blends classic cocktail craftsmanship with Bar Margot’s signature balance of style and substance. Led by the lounge’s expert mixologists, guests will learn to shake, stir, and sip their way through two Derby-inspired cocktails, including the iconic Mint Julep, alongside a second Derby cocktail. The experience also includes light bites and hands-on guidance inside the chic setting of Bar Margot at Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta, making for an early evening that feels equal parts lesson, lounge moment, and social scene.

The series continues all season long with equally exciting themes, perfectly aligned with the pours of the moment. On Tuesday, May 19, tequila takes center stage with two cocktails spotlighting the bold and versatile spirit, followed by Golden Hour Sips with Don Julio on Tuesday, June 23, an installment designed for summer entertaining inspiration. Bar Margot continues its Shaken & Stirred mixology series on Tuesday, March 24 at 5:30 p.m. with Springtime Sips, an early evening cocktail class celebrating the bright, botanical flavors of the season. Guests will shake, stir, and sip through two spring-ready cocktails while enjoying light bites and guided instruction from Bar Margot’s bar team inside the stylish lounge at Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta.

The hands-on session features the Nectar—a refreshing blend of gin, honey, St-Germain, lemon, and soda water—and the Botanica Martini, a crisp, herbaceous take on the classic made with gin, Lo-Fi vermouth, and rhubarb bitters. Along the way, guests will explore the balance, aromatics, and seasonal ingredients that shape each drink while picking up a few techniques to bring home to their own bar cart.

They’ll shake, taste, and compare multiple builds, exploring how the drink transforms across different base spirits and why those choices matter. It’s equal parts technique and good company. On Tuesday, September 16, 2025, TWO urban licks is dimming the lights and dialing up the spirit with Mini Mixology, a hands-on cocktail experience where the classics get a signature TWO twist. From 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., guests will shake, stir, and sip through a guided lineup of three craft cocktails that are paired with seasonal bites by acclaimed Executive Chef Chad Clevenger. The evening kicks off with a sparkling welcome drink, and ends with take-home recipe cards to recreate the magic.
