Hosted by Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy, Spotlight Magic! celebrates the magic each of us brings to the party.  As the spotlight travels through vibrant Disney worlds, heroes, sidekicks, and even villains, take center stage for unforgettable moments of music, storytelling, and world-class skating.

Audiences will have the chance to see fan‑favorite characters make their Disney On Ice debuts. 

From Zootopia 2, pop sensation Gazelle and sly newcomer Gary De’Snake, join Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde for an all‑new adventure.  From Lilo & Stitch, Angel makes her highly anticipated North American debut, soaring high above the arena on a sparkling chandelier before reuniting with Stitch in a heartwarming on‑ice moment.

Fans will also experience beloved stories from Beauty and the BeastTangled,Toy Story,Moana, and Monsters, Inc.,alongside a thrilling, never-before-seen showcase featuring Disney’s iconic villains, including the Evil Queen, Gaston, Maleficent, and Ursula.  The celebration is powered by an electrifying soundtrack that blends Disney Channel hits like “Pumpin’ Up the Party” (“Hannah Montana), “A Night to Remember” (High School Musical 3: Senior Year), and “Good to Be Bad” (Descendants 3), with timeless classics such as “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” (Toy Story), “Be Our Guest” (Beauty and the Beast), “I’ve Got a Dream” (Tangled), and “I Am Moana” (Moana).

WISH

Last year, Disney On Ice became the first live entertainment show to debut Asha before the animated film’s release.  Now, the entire Kingdom of Rosas will magically come to life, featuring even more characters from Wish.  Asha, Valentino, Star, and King Magnifico come together to bring to life “This Wish,” “I’m a Star,” and “This Is The Thanks I Get?!”

FROZEN 2

Journey to Arendelle and the Enchanted Forest in Frozen 2 with Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, and Olaf as they are reminded that “Some Things Never Change.”  Visit the river full of memory, Ahtohallan, as Elsa asks memories of the past to “Show Yourself,” and Olaf thinks this will all make sense “When I’m Older.”

THE LION KING

Escaping to the Pride Lands with Simba and Nala from The Lion King, audiences should “Be Prepared” as Scar and the hyenas plot to take over the throne. Timon and Pumbaa remind us it’s best just to say “Hakuna Matata” as everyone celebrates the “Circle of Life.”

THE LITTLE MERMAID

Skilled maestro, Sebastian, strikes a chord “Under the Sea” when he conducts Ariel, her seven sisters, and a colorful orchestra of sea creatures from The Little Mermaid. Guests will be singing along as Ariel serenades Prince Eric with a wish to become “Part of Your World,” and a symphony of lagoon insects perform “Kiss the Girl.”

MOANA

The audience will immediately “Know The Way” when Moana shows them “How Far I’ll Go,” as she journeys from the island of Motunui to save her home from Te Kā.  Along the way she meets Maui who reminds everyone “You’re Welcome.” The duo comes face to face with Tamatoa who hasn’t always been this “Shiny.”

Performances Begin on Wednesday, Oct. 2 and Play for 3 Weeks through Sunday, Oct. 20 at the Fox Theatre

Disney Theatrical Group and Regions Bank Broadway in Atlanta announced today that tickets for the long-awaited return engagement of Disney’s The Lion King will go on sale to the public on Friday, June 21 at 10 a.m. ​ Atlanta’s most eagerly awaited return will once again leap onto the Fox Theatre stage on Wednesday, Oct. 2 for a limited engagement of 3 weeks through Sunday, Oct. 20. ​ The opening night is Thursday, Oct. 3 at 7:30 p.m.

In Atlanta, The Lion King will play multiple performances. For exact days and times, visit broadwayinatlanta.com. Extra Magic Packages, which include an excellent seat in the theater and show merchandise, are also available. Beginning Friday, June 21, tickets will be available at the Fox Theatre Box Office at 660 Peachtree Street NE, Atlanta, by phone at (855) 285-8499 and online at foxtheatre.org/the-lion-king. The Broadway score features Elton John and Tim Rice’s songs from the Lion King animated film along with three new songs by John and Rice; additional musical material by South African Lebo MMark MancinaJay RifkinJulie Taymor and Hans Zimmer; and music from “Rhythm of the Pride Lands,” an album inspired by the original music in the film, written by Lebo M, Mark Mancina and Hans Zimmer.  The resulting sound of The Lion King is a fusion of Western popular music and the distinctive sounds and rhythms of Africa, ranging from the Academy Award®-winning song “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” to Lebo M’s rich choral numbers.

Elton John, Lebo M, and Hans Zimmer all collaborated on the 2019 version of the film, executive produced by Julie Taymor and Thomas Schumacher, which has gone onto extraordinary worldwide success.
