Halal American Italian Concept Brings Bold Flavors, Free Burgers + Live Entertainment To Gwinnett County
 

Bite More, a fast-growing, modern fast-casual concept redefining halal dining, will officially celebrate the Grand Opening of its Duluth location on Friday, April 3, with a ribbon cutting, live DJ, and exclusive food freebies for the community.
 
Located at 2148 Duluth Highway, Suite 117, Duluth, GA 30097, the new restaurant will host a ribbon cutting ceremony at 5:30 p.m. featuring remarks from Founder & CEO Prince Patel and local officials. Doors will officially open for the Grand Opening celebration at 6 p.m., with festivities continuing through 10 p.m.
 
To mark the occasion, the first 50 guests in line at 6 p.m. will receive a free Oklahoma Onion Smash Burger, one of the brand’s best-selling menu items. Bite More is quickly gaining attention for its bold, scratch-made American Italian menu, featuring everything from stacked smash burgers and indulgent pastas to wings, tenders, and specialty lemonades. The Duluth location marks the brand’s continued expansion in metro Atlanta, following its initial debut in Buckhead in 2024. Built on a foundation of experiences, Distillery of Modern Art, a new concept coming this fall to Chamblee, GA, is an amalgamation of distillery, gallery, event space, covered patio, ‘living wall’ with fresh grown herbs, and cocktail lounge. Guest are invited to immerse themselves in this purpose-driven concept which showcases art in all its many forms and challenges them to leave their perceptions at the door. Going beyond what’s in the bottle, the 15,000 square foot space is a modern art gallery whose walls feature local artists and installations- several of which are utilized for DoMA’s bottle art. Moving into the bar area, this is where the spirits come alive as master mixologists create signature cocktails using one of the house-created spirits, often pulling garnishes from the ‘living wall’ garden adjacent to the lounge. New Retail Concepts to the Redevelopment, Set to Open Mid-Summer 2021

On the heels of announcing a September opening at The Eastern music venue and its first retail tenant, YOUNG BLOOD, Atlanta Dairies is thrilled to unveil three new retail tenants from Dan Collier. Set to open at the historic redevelopment mid-summer, City Champion, Proper Wax, and Paradiso Plant Shop are three new concepts from Dan Collier and team, most notably known for shops across Atlanta and beyond including The Merchant, Archer Paper Goods, Sweet Inman’s, Collier Candy Co., Daily Dose, Read Shop and more.

“We have a long-standing relationship with Dan Collier, and his shops have been key retail components to many of our development projects, including Krog Street Market, Vinings Jubilee, and Optimist Hall in Charlotte,” said David Cochran, President and CEO of Paces Properties. “We are thrilled to have Collier’s shops as part of the Atlanta Dairies retail lineup and even more thrilled to be home to three new concepts for the growing Collier brand.”

From its inception, Collier and his team found interest in the fast-growing Reynoldstown redevelopment. “When COVID hit, I encouraged my team to study trends to best predict what retail may look like post-pandemic, and with that came these new adventures which we cannot wait to execute,” said Collier, Principal at daniel*richards. “It’s always exciting to be a part of something bigger than ourselves. CITY CHAMPION

City Champion brings back the nostalgia of the glory days while pairing contemporary style with old-school cool. Based out of Atlanta, City Champion is set to focus on regional apparel that represents the civic pride of the city and the state of Georgia. Most items carried will be custom-made by City Champion and manufactured in-house. Amid City Champion’s athletic-themed shop, guests will find unique apparel, gifts like postcards and pins, and vintage pieces that will make them feel victorious.

PROPER WAX
Stats: 516 SF
Proper Wax will be the go-to place for all candle lovers, new and old. The shop will carry well-known popular candle brands mixed with new-to-market candlemakers. Proper Wax’s doors will open with curated candles for even the most selective candle enthusiast. Fixtures throughout the space carry clean lines and will marry industrial metal shelving and brass lighting.

PARADISO PLANT SHOP
Stats: 1,339 SF
Paradiso Plant Shop will make any humble abode a living paradise. The shop will focus on houseplants, plant accessories, and plant supplies and will carry all things needed for new and experienced plant parents. Paradiso’s ceramic and planter selection will have an emphasis on small-batch and local artisans. Guests can expect the space to have a southwestern flair with deep greens, orange crush tile, and copper accents.

TRE VELE: SANDY SPRINGS TO WELCOME NEW RESTAURANT CONCEPT FROM THE TEAM BEHIND MISSION + MARKET

Tre Vele, Italian Restaurant and Market, to Open Mid-Summer
 

Following the success of opening award-winning Buckhead restaurant Mission + Market, brothers Ryan and Jonathan Akly and Ian Winslade today announce their expansion into the Atlanta restaurant scene with new restaurant, Tre Vele. The new concept will open in the former {three} sheets location in Sandy Springs and will be a modern, elevated Italian restaurant specializing in handmade pasta as well as other classic Italian dishes.
 
In collaboration with Chef/Partner Ian Winslade, most notably of Mission + Market, Executive Chef Giancarlo Ruiz will be at the helm of Tre Vele. Ruiz touts vast experience in Italian cuisine with both his Italian heritage and culinary training in Florence where he lived for 16 years. Following his tenure under Italian chefs, Ruiz moved to Atlanta where he gained experience in some of Atlanta’s top restaurants, including Storico Fresco, before being appointed Executive Chef at the new concept.
 
Chef Giancarlo will be serving up classic Italian dishes with a modern twist including fresh house-made pasta courses like Cavatelli al Sugò D’agnello (homemade Cavatelli with lamb sugo) and Strozzapreti with vegan kale pesto. Guests can expect starters like fresh burrata with heirloom tomatoes and grilled baby artichokes with salsa verde. Mains will consist of items including Veal Milanese, Coda alla Vaccinara (braised oxtail with a red wine tomato sauce), and Red Snapper Acqua Pazza. The dessert selection will be comprised of items such as Basilico Panna Cotta finished with Saba and summer fruit Tiramisu.
 
Tre Vele features a 3,500SF dining room as well as a 1,500SF rooftop patio. The restaurant will also offer a 600SF Italian market and café, open for specialty coffee drinks and fresh pastries all day, and retailing house-made pastas, sauces, and prepared meals to go. In addition, the market will retail a specially curated selection of Italian wines while also hosting wine tastings, wine dinners, private events, and pasta-making classes.
 
Restaurants Consulting Group, Inc., an award-winning full-service design-build firm with a focus on hospitality, restaurant, bar, and nightclub design, led the interior design transformation of the space. At the helm, President of RCG, Tony Akly’s, vision has created a light-filled, bright atmosphere with inspiration from Italy seen throughout, from the plant-filled trellises on the ceiling to the Carrara marble accents. Elements of the market and café include a glass-enclosed pasta room upon entering where guests can observe Chef Giancarlo in action, retail wine, pasta, and dessert displays, design accents of white and black marble, and white ceramic walls accented by gold leaf mirrored backlit shelving. The dining room, featuring a 30-foot Carrera marble bar, is designed to be humble and exciting, inviting guests to meet up with friends and loved ones. The interior feel is warm yet striking with natural wood accents and bold geometric shapes all against a white background. Above the dining room, guests will find the rooftop terrace and bar, designed to create a continuous experience operating as additional dining and lounge areas. With seating for up to 90 guests, the rooftop bar is the perfect place to begin the night with an Aperitivo or end the night with a relaxing cocktail.
 
“While we are so proud of our long tenure running {three} sheets, we are very excited for this next chapter,” said partner and co-owner Jonathan Akly. “Like many in the industry, the pandemic brought upon challenges, especially for {three} sheets since its focus was hosting large corporate events and gatherings. Looking ahead, this presented us with the perfect opportunity to pursue this new endeavor. NEW MOE’S ORIGINAL BBQ NOW OPEN IN PEACHTREE CORNERS

The almost 2000 square foot fast casual restaurant is open on Tuesdays-Sundays from 11am-9pm.
