Green Eggs & Kegs Festival 2023

The Best Party in the ‘Burbs Returns Bigger & Better 

On Saturday, April 22, The Village at 5521 Chamblee Dunwoody Road will present Green Eggs & Kegs 2023. Event attendees can expect even more local restaurants, live music, and beverage sponsors than last year. The Village and new title sponsor, Discover Dunwoody, will host this ticketed event throughout The Village Courtyard and this year, the parking lot area will be expanded. A portion of ticket proceeds will be donated to support the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). 

Attendees that hold VIP tickets will gain event entry one hour before general admission attendees, receive a 2nd-year commemorative event t-shirt, and new this year, from noon to 1:00 pm, a sponsored VIP hour of complimentary beer and spirits will be offered at both Bar{n} booze & bites and Morty’s Meat Supply thanks to Eagle Rock and United Distributors.

It is expected that 18+ restaurants will be on-site cooking on over two dozen donated Big Green Eggs. Including Bar{n} booze & bites, Morty’s Meat & Supply, The Funwoody Food Truck, Message in a Bottle, Nick’s Westside, Local Three, Grecian Gyro, Chupito’s Azteca Grille, NFA BurgerBreadwinner Cafe and Bakery, and Gracious Plenty. Culinary participants will battle it out for the People’s Choice Best Taste award. Last year’s winner was NFA Burger and Grand Champion BBQ.

“Last year’s event sold out! Due to the enormous success, we are telling everyone to get their tickets quickly! We’ve added more restaurants, bigger sponsors, and a third live band. The goal is to spread awareness about the Dunwoody area’s local businesses and support each other as one, strong community. It will definitely be an afternoon to remember! ” said David Abes, owner of Dash Hospitality Group and The Village Dunwoody.

The stage at The Village will feature live tunes from headliner Family Truckster, Sucker Punch, and Mike Casey & Jason Martin. Sponsors that make this annual event possible include Discover Dunwoody, Regency Centers, Big Green Egg, United Distributors, Eagle Rock, Sysco, Aussie Select, SweetWater Brewing, Kona Brewing, Gate City, Tucker Brewing, Bacardi, Califino, Tres Agaves, Wicked Weed, Babylonstoren, ASW Distillery, Old Forester, The Ned, and more to come. Other sponsors, restaurant vendors, and more will be announced before the event date.
