KICK OFF THE HOLIDAY SHOPPING SEASON WITH HALCYON’S NOVEMBER EVENTS LINE-UP

Forsyth County’s premier mixed-use village invites the community to play, shop, dine and experience what’s new

Head to Halcyon in November for an exciting line-up of events. Kick off the month by getting competitive at Family Bingo, enjoying festive food and drinks at Hobnob’s Ski Chalet Pop Up Bar, shopping for handmade gifts at the Holiday Artists Market and having a night out with friends and family at the Holiday Shopping event.

The full November events schedule is outlined below:

Family Bingo

Sundays in November from 4-6 p.m.

Head to Halcyon for Family Bingo every Sunday from 4- 6 p.m. outside of Market Hall. This event is free, and you’ll have a chance to win small gift cards from our retailers and restaurants. All ages are invited to attend. While outside food or drink is strictly prohibited, dining is available at one of Halcyon’s Market Hall or full-service restaurants before, during or after bingo. Halcyon highly recommends pre-registering. If the event is full, you may stop by around 4 p.m. to see if walk-ups are available. Halcyon posts the link each Tuesday for the following Sunday. Hobnob’s Ski Chalet Pop Up Bar

Starting Thursday, November 7 and running through the holiday season

Head to Hobnob at Halcyon this month for their winter ski resort pop up bar. Try some of the best Apres-ski fare east of the Rockies and enjoy snowy-season inspired, cozy cocktails by the fireplace. Holiday Artists Market

Saturday, November 9 and Sunday, November 10 from 11 a.m.-5 p.m.

Join Halcyon for its Holiday Artists Market featuring unique handmade items from talented local artists. Some of your favorite vendors will return along with some new artists shoppers will love. Spend the day at Halcyon and enjoy food, drink, live music, shopping and the Holiday Artists Market all in one place. Mercedes Benz Experience Center by RBM of Alpharetta will be giving out complimentary shopping bags at the event! Limited spaces remain for artists in specific categories. Holiday Shopping Event

Thursday, November 14 from 6-9 p.m.

Gather your girlfriends and head to Halcyon for a festive night of shopping, sips and holiday cheer. All of the boutiques along Halcyon’s Town Square will be offering something special for shoppers, including storewide discounts, gifts with purchase, holiday refreshments, sips and more. Thanksgiving Dinners at HOBNOB and Cattle Shed

Thursday, November 28 from 11:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m.

This Thanksgiving, HOBNOB Neighborhood Tavern is serving up a classic holiday meal with all of the fixings for just $55 per person (plus tax and gratuity). Reservations are available for dine in or pre-order to-go. They are also offering a traditional Thanksgiving dinner to-go, which serves 6-8 people for $165. Cattle Shed Wine and Steak Bar is also accepting reservations for Thanksgiving dining. The restaurant is serving a four course, prix fixe menu with sommelier crafted wine pairings for $115 per person (plus tax and gratuity). Groovin’ on the Green

Fridays and Saturdays in October from 6 – 9 p.m.

Celebrate the weekend by dancing and singing along to live musical performances on the Village Green. On the last Saturday of each month, Cherry Street Brewpub will host live music on its patio adjacent to the Village Green. Guests can treat themselves to a craft brew and groove to live music playing all around the village! Halcyon has an open container policy, however outside food or beverages are prohibited. Season Finale: Farm Animal Yoga

Mooove on over to Halcyon for Farm Animal Yoga, featuring live animals from North Georgia Wildlife Park! Treat your mind and body to a relaxing session of yoga appropriate for all skill levels, accompanied by adorable furry friends. Participants must bring their own yoga mat and are welcome to pause and take photos with the animals during the session. Spooky Street Kid’s Craft

Sunday October 13 from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Bring the whole family to Cherry Street Brewpub for a morning filled with spooky fun! There will be a craft station where kids can conjure up their own Halloween masterpieces while you enjoy brunch in the Brewhouse. Spooky Street Sip and Paint

Wednesday, October 16 at 6:30 p.m.

Join Cherry Street Brewpub for a spook-tacular Sip and Paint night at Halcyon, where creativity meets eerie fun! Embrace the Halloween spirit as you craft your own ghoulishly inspired masterpiece while sipping on our seasonal brews and potions (beer and craft cocktails). With a lively 21+ only atmosphere, themed decorations, and expert guidance, it’s the perfect blend of artistry and frightful festivities. 

Tickets include a reserved seat in the Spooky Street Brewhouse, one spooky signature cocktail, all necessary supplies, guided instruction to create your own monsterpiece and gratuity and tax. If you and your party are purchasing tickets separately, please add their name(s) in the order notes to be seated together. This event is 21+ only. Witches Night Out

Thursday, October 24 from 6-10 p.m.

Head to Halcyon for an incredible night of fun at the annual Halloween Ladies Night Out! Tickets include  your first Black Magic Margarita or mocktail at HOBNOB for free (drink tickets will be provided at check-in), music and dancing in the Green, a costume contest with prizes for best groups and individuals (you can dress as a witch or in any costume you want!), live music and dancing at Eclipse di Luna and a DJ and dancing at HOBNOB High Up. There will also be Halloween-themed cocktails at our restaurants featuring Tito’s, Birdie’s photo booth camper with free take-home photos, discounts and specials at Halcyon retailers and pop-ups, games, and giveaways. Halloween at Halcyon

Saturday, October 26 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Head to Halcyon for the 5th annual Trick or Treating event! Activities will include trick-or-treating at over 30 participating Halcyon businesses, petting and grooming farm animals from the North Georgia Zoo, a meet-and-greet with Barbie and Spiderman, face painting and balloon twisting, a DJ on the Green, Halloween cotton candy and a make-your-own flower bouquet pop-up. There are also many fall and Halloween photo spots around Halcyon, so bring your camera to capture the day.

Registration is required and families can sign up for an 11 am or 1 p.m. trick-or-treat entry time. Tickets are $20 per child. Infants under the age of one and adults who won’t be trick or treating or participating in any activities will not need a ticket. Trick-or-treaters will receive wristbands for trick-or-treating and exclusive access to all activities. 100% of ticket proceeds will be donated to Bald Ridge Lodge to change lives and launch new futures for the young men in their care.

This event will sell out prior to the event date, and no walk-ups can be accommodated. This is a rain or shine event and there will be no refunds. For more information, visit the Halcyon Facebook event page.

Spooky Street Horror Movie Trivia

Tuesday, October 29 at 7:30 p.m.

Do you consider yourself a horror movie aficionado? Are you the ultimate scream queen or king? Put your knowledge to the test and join Cherry Street Brewpub for a night of thrilling trivia. You’ll be quizzed  on all things horror, from classic slasher films to supernatural thrillers. Trivia will start at 7:30 pm in our Spooky Street Brewhouse, hosted by the incredible A&G Productions. Reservations are first come, first served for Horror Movie Trivia. If you can no longer attend, please let Cherry Street know so they can make other arrangements. This event is 21+ only. Cherry Street’s 5 Year Anniversary on the Green

Saturday, September 21 from 4-10 p.m.

Join Cherry Street Brewpub for its 5-year anniversary celebration on the Halcyon Green. There will be live music kicking off with Magnolia Express from 4-6:30 p.m., followed by The Fixins from 7-10 p.m.

Guests can enjoy an evening filled with fun, including local vendors, kids’ activities, a hair tinsel station, face painting, cotton candy art, a treat cart by It’s a Sweet Life Bakery and food and beer stations to keep you refreshed all night long.

Cherry Street will also be releasing three special barrel-aged beers, including a Wild Turkey Barrel-Aged Barleywine,  a Blackberry Brandy Barrel-Aged Barleywine and a re-release of the gold medal-winning Grease Monkey Banana Barrel-Aged Barleywine. Doodle Dog Day

Sunday, September 22 from 1-4 p.m.

In celebration of International Doodle Dog Day, Halcyon is hosting its biggest dog PAW-ty of the year! Halcyon invites doodles, other furry friends and their humans for an afternoon of dog-loving fun.

Check in at the Halcyon tent in the Village Green to pick up your free Halcyon dog swag and a schedule of events including a pooch parade with prizes, doggy samples and treats, doggy vendors and free dog caricatures. Guests can enjoy all of our dog-friendly restaurant patios, dine on the doggy menu at Cherry Street Brewpub, visit our dog-friendly shops for special treats, meet adoptable pups from FurKids Animal Rescue and Shelter and take a walk on the Big Creek Greenway adjacent to Halcyon. Join Tutu School for a Magical 2nd Anniversary Party! Beat the summer heat at Tutu School for a Special Dance Class with Elsa in honor of Tutu School Halcyon’s 2nd Year of Twirling. The event includes sweet treats, Elsa Friendship Bracelet making (kit included) and lots of twirling with the queen. You do not need to be an active Tutu School member to celebrate. Totally ‘80s Night

Totally ’80s Night is back at Halcyon! Halcyon is turning back the clock for this tubular event in the Village Green. Come chill with us! Head to MAKE[R] at Halcyon this month for a fun lineup of crafts for kids:

6/4 Mommy and Me Paint Portraits – Join MAKE[R] for an adorable “paint a portrait” session with your little ones! Just like the viral reel going around with husbands and wives painting each other’s portrait, you can now see how your little sees YOU! All supplies are provided for mommy and one child. 6/11 Make SLIME!! – Join MAKE[R] for a fun morning making SLIME!! Your kiddos can come and learn how to make slime with household ingredients and have some fun interactive play – bonus is, no mess at your house! Halcyon welcomes the spring season with sunny skies, warmer weather and a fun-filled calendar of events in April! Kick off the month watching the Masters Tournament at Cherry Street Brewpub; enjoy live music every weekend jamming to local bands at Groovin’ on the Green; celebrate fan-favorite farm animal yoga returning this month; shop from a variety of local, handmade products and gifts at the Halcyon Spring Artists Market; and take advantage of the spring weather by dining on one of the many outdoor patios at Halcyon’s restaurants.

Groovin’ on the Green

Fridays and Saturdays in April from 6 – 9 p.m.

Celebrate the weekend by dancing and singing along to live musical performances on Village Green. Enjoy local musicians across a variety of genres playing top hits. On the last Saturday of each month, Cherry Street Brewpub will host live music on its patio adjacent to Village Green. Jesse’s House provides a safe haven and therapeutic environment for adolescent girls who have been removed from situations of neglect and abuse or present a safety risk to themselves and others. 8th Annual Thanksgiving Gobble Wobble 5K, 10K, and 1K Fun Run

Join Halcyon for the Thanksgiving Gobble Wobble race before your Thanksgiving feast! Runners can register online or in-person for the 5K, 10K race or the 1K Fun Run, which is reserved for kids ages 10 and under. In-person registration will be available at Big Peach Running Co. in Cumming until Wednesday, November 22 and on-site registration starting at 7 a.m. on race day if not sold out.
