Celebrate the holiday season at Amore e Amore in the heart of Inman Park, where Mama Gale and Professor Giovanni will once again transform their beloved Italian ristorante into a whimsical winter wonderland from Wednesday, November 6, 2024 through Christmas Eve, December 24, 2024. Every corner of the restaurant will be adorned with festive decorations and seasonal delights, creating a magical atmosphere for all. Adding to the festive spirit, Santa and Mrs. Claus will be spreading holiday cheer on November 27 and 29, and December 1, 3, 4, 5, 8, 10, 11, and 12, 2024. They will be available for visits from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on weekdays and 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sundays.

As timeless holiday songs fill the air, guests can indulge in a special prix fixe menu and raise a glass to holiday cheer with themed cocktails, zero proof offerings, wine, beer and more. Amore e Amore’s full a la carte dinner menu filled with fan favorites curated over more than two decades will also be available. Young guests are invited to write and mail letters to Santa while enjoying their kid-friendly menu featuring pizza bites, meatballs, and child-size portions of popular entrees like fettuccine alfredo, cheese ravioli, and spaghetti and meatballs, all for $20.

UPSTAIRS AT HOBNOB HALCYON TRANSFORMS INTO A WINTER WONDERLAND WITH SKI CHALET POP-UP BAR

Guests will Experience the Thrills of Ski Resort Vibes, Seasonal Cocktails, and Mountaintop Fare on the Rooftop Starting Nov. 8

Atlanta doesn’t see much snow, but HOBNOB Neighborhood Tavern will soon usher in ski chalet vibes upstairs at its Halcyon location. Starting Wednesday, Nov. 8, the Ski Chalet Pop-Up Bar will immerse guests in a winter ski resort atmosphere, serving seasonal cocktails and mountaintop fare all winter long.

HOBNOB is recreating one of the most enjoyable parts of a ski vacation: the après ski experience, where guests wind down after a day on the slopes with cocktails and comforting snacks. At HOBNOB Halcyon, guests probably did not have a hard day of skiing, but they can escape to the comfort of HOBNOB’s Ski Chalet with a satisfying beverage, a cozy atmosphere with a roaring fire and some of the best après ski fare east of the Rockies. 

HOBNOB’s Ski Chalet drinks will come with a side of seasonal comfort, perfect for whatever terrain guests have covered that day. Specialty cocktails include classics like peppermint mocha martinis, RumChata hot cocoas, and Bulleit bourbon hot toddies. Guests can linger over their cozy cocktails and nibble at seasonal mountaintop fare that includes tableside campfire s’mores and homemade classic poutine.

Live entertainment will complement the snowy space every Friday and Saturday. The Ski Chalet Pop-Up Bar will be located at HOBNOB Halcyon’s High-Up Bar on the second floor. All the best features of the winter season will be alive and well and celebrated in a warm, welcoming atmosphere.  

HOBNOB Halcyon is open for lunch and dinner and weekend brunch and offers a late-night bar and live music on the weekends. Plus, Entertainment Destination to Host a New Year’s Eve Vegas-Style Celebration

Live! at The Battery – the entertainment destination located in the heart of The Battery Atlanta – announces it will be home to holiday pop-up bar Tinsel Tavern throughout the merriest time of year! Featuring an explosion of tinsel and twinkling lights, holiday-inspired cocktails and small bites, and photo moments, the whimsical experience will be open daily Thursday, December 1 through Saturday, December 24 from 4pm until close.

Throughout the season, Tinsel Tavern will host festive themed nights – think Dancing Elves Silent Disco and an Ugly Sweater Party – and Family Day every Sunday from 4-7pm, where kids can visit Santa, enjoy coloring stations and more. Guests will be able to make reservations beginning early November or can walk in for drinks and socializing. Biltong Bar at Ponce City Market and Buckhead Village are “Up to Snow Good” as they transform their spaces for the third annual holiday pop-up: The Blitzen Room. The restaurants will feature swanky, vintage Christmas decor and seasonally themed cocktails from Chartreuse Hot Chocolate to Frozen Egg Nog.

Just inside the tower lobby, the Holiday Social Bar will welcome Roof-goers with an over-the-top experience bursting with whimsical decor and holiday drinks.

Buckhead Village announces it will be home to The German American Cultural Foundation’s 2021 German Christkindl Market. Open to the public from Friday, November 26, 2021 through Sunday, January 2, 2022, the German holiday market will be located on the corner of North Fulton and Buckhead Avenue (309 Buckhead Ave) and feature over 50 vendors offering food and beverage treats and items to shop, plus live music and entertainment on the weekends. Market hours will be 11:30am-9:30pm Sunday through Thursday and 11:30am-10:30pm on Friday and Saturday.

Mingle & Jingle Bar at Best End BrewingNow through December 31st

Best End is welcoming back the very FIRST & ONLY pop-up Christmas Bar in the West End of Atlanta, GA.  Nestled right off the SW trail of the BeltLine in the Flamingo Room at Best End Brewing Company, 1036 White Street SW, Atlanta GA 30310.  Chef & Founding Partner Cory Burke and Events Engineer Suzanne Dieter are excited to celebrate the holidays with the third installment of the Mingle & Jingle Christmas Bar. From Christmas tchotchkes to a life-size hugging bear, to miles of tinsel garland, to an Instagram-worthy Bow Wall and Giant Wreath, you’ll find all the Christmas feels to make the holiday season a little less stressful.  Upon entering Mingle & Jingle, the first thing you’ll notice is Suzanne’s obvious love of all things sparkly and shiny. Curling ribbon glistens and tumbles off the light fixtures over the bar and miles of tinsel garland are woven through the rafters to create an intimate holiday setting out of a spacious room. The mid-century modern glassware sparkles on the decorated shelves behind the bar looks fantastic in a photo taken in front of the large bow wall or wreath.

Truck & Tap Duluth’s Christmas Bar – December 4th through the holidays.

This year, Truck and Tap Duluth will be doing a National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation themed Christmas Bar, starting Dec 4th.

Hampton + Hudson’s Mountain Lodge – December 14 through December 30

This holiday season, Hampton + Hudson, the community bar and restaurant in Atlanta’s Inman Park neighborhood offering elevated pub food, craft cocktails, beer and wine, will host a Mountain Lodge Pop-up to celebrate the most joyful and cozy time of year from Tuesday, December 14 through Thursday, December 30. The pop-up will be open 6-11pm nightly, and walk-ins are welcome. Centered around creative cocktails, the pop-up will be located on the restaurant’s mezzanine level and welcome guests to step into the comforting and cozy lodge atmosphere. Servers will don checkered flannel and merrily serve holiday cocktails like classic Tom & Jerry’s, Tequila Eggnog and Hot Buttered Cider with duck fat caramel. Guests can also get the party going with Rumplemintz and Fernet Menta Shotskis served up on sets of wooden skis. To pair, guests can order fun snacks like tableside s’mores, a limited edition Apple Cider Doughnut from Sublime Doughnuts, classic poutine and a croque madame.

See gorgeous light displays, listen to live music, drink hot chocolate, spot Santa and more at this community celebration. Registration on Ravinia’s Facebook page is encouraged. The event is free to attend, but will also serve as a donation center for the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta’s Children’s Holiday Wish List program. Guests can bring a donation the night of the event, or drop off a donation before the event in one of three lobbies at Ravinia. A drop-off location will also be available at the main entrance of the Crowne Plaza Atlanta Perimeter Hotel. 5 pm to 8 pm.

From noon-4pm every Saturday from December 4 through December 18, the community hub will invite visitors to enjoy a winter wonderland on The Trestle – the breezeway connecting Ponce City Market to the Atlanta BeltLine – with special appearances from Santa, holiday carolers, complimentary Misfit Mystery Kits for the first 150 guests, sweet treat pop-ups and more. FIRESIDE ROASTING & TOASTING PODS ON THE YARD:

 

Saturdays & Sundays, Nov. 27 – Dec. 19 – Get warm and cozy with your nearest and dearest outside on The Yard this holiday season! Guests will be able to gather ‘round toasty fires and enjoy s’mores at fireside pods accommodating groups of up to four. Classic s’mores supplies – graham crackers, marshmallows and chocolate bars – will be provided, and pods can be booked by the hour on Saturdays from noon-9pm and on Sundays from noon-6pm. PONCE GOES UPSIDE DOWN HOLIDAY EDITION:

 

Tues., Dec. 9, 5:30-8:30pm – Located on the second floor of the Central Food Hall and in The Trestle, Ponce Goes Upside Down is a new carnival-style block party celebrating local makers and creators, plus everything fun to eat, drink and shop at the iconic community hub. This December, the event series will celebrate the holiday season with a holiday market by Artists & Fleas, festive trees, falling snow, costumed street performers and complimentary popcorn on The Trestle, plus live jazz, cornhole, the Misfit DIY Wrapping Factory, complimentary Misfit Mystery Kits and a range of fun, in-store activations, special products, exhibits and more from PCM’s local merchants on the second floor of the Central Food Hall.

 

SKATE THE SKY:

 

Opening Fri., Nov. 26 – Back for a fifth year, The Roof at Ponce City Market invites guests to “Skate the Sky.” Ten stories above Ponce de Leon Avenue, the Rooftop Terrace will feature a 3,500-square-foot ice skating rink open seven days a week. Skaters can also enjoy unlimited games and rides at Skyline Park while donning a faux fur coat provided by The Roof. Ice skating is $15 for adults and children (plus admission to The Roof). Reservations will be available beginning November 1 and include 50 minutes of skating, ice skate rentals and unlimited gameplay at Skyline Park. Skaters must be at least five years of age to skate, and individuals under 12 must be accompanied by an adult skater. Hours for the rink will be the same as The Roof’s regular operating hours, available here.

 

IGLOOS ON THE ROOF:

 

Opening Fri., Nov. 26 – Cozy up this holiday season in private igloos on Ponce City Market’s Roof, located alongside the ice-skating rink and at 9 Mile Station! Rink-side igloos will be open weekdays beginning at 3pm for guests 21+. On Saturdays and Sundays from 11:30am-1:30pm and 2pm-4pm, families can enjoy the igloos. Guests 21+ can enjoy food and beverages – think hot cocktails and champagne – and all rink-side igloo guests will have access to general admission to The Roof, skate rentals, 50 minutes of skate time and unlimited games and rides at Skyline Park (when available). At 9 Mile Station, the restaurant will transform into a woodland forest with cozy igloos overlooking the skyline of Atlanta. Available for guests 21+, the restaurant igloos will offer full-service dining, plus general admission to The Roof and unlimited games and rides at Skyline Park (when available). Igloos reservations are available here. Each seats up to six guests. 

 

NOON YEAR’S EVE ON THE ROOF:

 

Fri., Dec. 31, 10am-3pm – Save the date for The Roof’s annual Noon Year’s Eve celebration! Skyline Park will host a family-friendly celebration for parents and children of all ages to ring in 2022 as guests count down to noon. Tickets are $15 for all ages (3 years and under are free) and can be pre-purchased online here or at the door.

 

Ponce City Market will be closed on Thanksgiving Day (November 26, 2020) and Christmas Day (December 25, 2020).

Starting December 1st The Third Door will transform into Church Street Vacation a holiday pop up themed after the classic Chevy Chase film, National Lampoons Christmas Vacation.

Featuring cocktails like the I Don’t Know Margo, a vodka sour made with lemon, apple and peppermint, the Where’s The Tylenol, a baking spice infused Old Fashioned and the Little Full, Lotta Sap, a hot toddy featuring blended scotch, lemon, honey and pine.

Be on the lookout for a roaming Cousin Eddie, perhaps even more devious than a Bad Santa. Presents hanging from the ceiling, an explosion of Christmas lights, and an abundance of tacky holiday cheer and decor to be included.

BILTONG BAR’S BLITZEN ROOM HOLIDAY POP-UP RETURNS THIS MONTH, NOW IN THREE LOCATIONS!

The Annual Pop-up Will Be Bigger Than Ever & Feature A Collaboration with Maker’s Mark, Festive Decor, Seasonal Libations & More

Biltong Bar – the acclaimed South African-inspired restaurant and bar specializing in dry-aged beef jerky and craft cocktails – will kick off the holiday season with its signature Blitzen Room. The pop-up will take place at the Ponce City Market and Buckhead Village locations, and near Biltong Bar’s newest location at Avalon in collaboration with Maker’s Mark. Blitzen Room will run from late November through early 2021 and feature swanky, vintage decor, festive seasonal libations and more.

Launching on November 22 and lasting until January 3 as part of Avalon’s Holiday Market, Biltong Bar’s newly opened location in Alpharetta will host Blitzen Room in collaboration with Maker’s Mark. Located inside Avalon’s Holiday Market, the pop-up Blitzen Room bar will feature a menu of seasonal libations made with Maker’s Mark, like Stave Me An Old Fashioned with Maker’s Mark, Calvados, Walnut, Bitters; Comet’s Cider featuring Maker’s Mark, Spiced Cider, Maple, Lemon; and Not Your Grandma’s Eggnog, served frozen and made with Jim Beam Rye, Courvoisier VSOP, Rum, Sherry, Egg, Sugar, Cream, Spice.. The pop-up bar will be separate from Biltong Bar’s location at the property and will include an awkward family photo wall where guests can snap pictures in addition to festive decor. Maker’s Mark will be on-site throughout the season hosting events and activations.

Launching at Buckhead Village on November 24 and at Ponce City Market on November 25, Blitzen Room will also return to Biltong Bar’s intown Atlanta locations this year. Guests can expect to get “Up to Snow Good” with seasonally themed cocktails including Chartreuse Hot Chocolate, green chartreuse, almond, drinking chocolate, white chocolate whipped cream; The Famous Eggnog, brandy, rye, rum, pedro ximenez, milk, eggs, spices; and Elf on the Top Shelf, rye, calvados, oloroso, champagne gum, brown butter. The restaurant’s moody interior will once again transform into a winter wonderland complete with swanky, vintage Christmas decorations, trees with twinkling lights and more.

Originally opened in 2016 at Ponce City Market, later in 2018 at Buckhead Village and most recently at Avalon, Biltong Bar is part of restaurateur Justin Anthony’s South African-inspired hospitality group, True Story Brands.
