Once upon a time, there was a Miracle on 10th Street and with the return of The Rink at Park Tavern Powered by Pepsi Zero, Atlantans and visitors alike can embrace the magic and nostalgia of the holiday season beginning Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 26, 2020 through Presidents Day, February 15, 2021.  A beloved annual tradition, this year, guests of all ages are invited to enjoy a new theme at The Rink at Park Tavern Powered by Pepsi Zero, A Miracle on 10th Street.  Setting the scene, a winter wonderland featuring an abundance of festive and kitschy decor, makes for unforgettable experiences and Instagrammable moments seven days a week.  Holiday cheer promises to be abound with an array of seasonal cocktails served in playful glassware, delicious fare, special events, all day skate sessions, themed skate nights, cozy fire pits, and much more.
Following safety protocols and guidelines from the CDC and State and Georgia, the 85-foot long and 40-foot wide, covered rink is heated and boasts a state-of-the-art sound system.  Complimented by Park Tavern’s dog-friendly, expansive patio overlooking Piedmont Park and the Midtown skyline, guests can hit the ice, relax in private cabanas and bubble tents, gather around stone fire pits and cook s’mores, and catch their favorite teams and holiday movies on numerous flatscreen TVs.  In addition to 10 distinct decorated areas to capture favorite holiday photos with friends and family, guests can also take advantage of four new selfie stations, complete with festive backdrops, skaters, imbibers and diners can easily capture and share memories that will last a lifetime.  Park Tavern also has The Rink at Park Tavern Powered by Pepsi Zero is available for private parties and marriage proposals and offers private skating lessons taught by professional ice skaters for tots to adults, courtesy of the Learn to Skate program led by Olympic Coach Craig Maurizi.
The Rink at Park Tavern Powered by Pepsi Zero will be open Monday through Friday from 4:30 p.m. to midnight and Saturday and Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 2 a.m. Guests of all ages can enjoy skating experiences for $15 Monday through Thursday and $20 Friday through Sunday until 8 p.m. At 8:30 p.m., The Rink at Park Tavern becomes an ages 16 and up venue until midnight.  Group packages and Season and Family Passes are also available.  To purchase tickets and for more information, visit www.parktavern.com.

When you walk into Park Tavern, you’re instantly transported to a winter wonderland, a crisp, and cool nip in the air, and even though the holidays may be over, the sipping and skating are not! It’s open until Monday, January 20th! We recently went down for a special event to showcase the food, the drinks, and the fun that The Rink at Park Tavern has to offer. It’s one of those places that you can sit by the fire, enjoy a spiked cocoa, a crisp Bubly vodka concoction, and some delicious sushi then head over to the ice rink and take a spin! Here’s a few photos and a small recap below on more about the Rink and the event we went to recently!

A special evening celebrating the holiday season, this exclusive Skate, Sip, and Snack VIP event took place in Park Tavern’s enchanted Neo-Victorian setting that’s adorned with charming holiday decor.  Guests enjoyed complimentary signature cocktails, delicious fare, and cooked s’mores over the fire pits while taking in unobstructed views of Piedmont Park and the Midtown skyline.  Adventurous guests also hit the hit the ice at The Rink at Park Tavern powered by Bubly – making for a fun-filled evening with new and old friends.

This holiday season, Park Tavern in Piedmont Park is pulling out all the stops for its popular ice skating rink that has become a beloved annual tradition for all ages.  Presenting Fire & Ice at The Rink Powered by Bubly, Park Tavern will welcome guests Thanksgiving weekend, Thursday, November 28, 2019 through Monday, January 20, 2020 to a completely transformed environment that boasts an enchanted Neo-Victorian feel and design elements, charming holiday decor, fun and games, special events, seasonal signature cocktails, delicious fare, and much more.
An iconic destination with a rich history that dates back to 1905, skaters, diners and imbibers alike can enjoy a magical wintertime experience that includes unobstructed views of Piedmont Park and the Midtown skyline. Skaters will stay warm under the heated Garden Tent and enjoy a state-of-the-art sound system and an 85-foot long and 40-foot wide rink that comfortably accommodates 200 day and night.  Observers are invited to sit back and relax and catch up with family and friends by stone fire pits and fireplaces, in private cabanas, and ample seating while catching their favorite teams on multiple flat screen TVs. In addition to rink and park-side dining, seasonal cocktails and house-made brews from one of Atlanta’s oldest breweries, guests can also take advantage of 1/2 price wine bottles every Wednesday, 1/2 off fresh sushi flown in from Hawaii, dips, sangria, and Red Stripe drafts from 9 p.m. to midnight, s’mores, ice skating lessons, and a variety of events and games – from weekly Steampunk skate parties to celebrating New Year’s Eve during their annual, sold-out bash with Electric Avenue.
